'Housefull 5' Massive Ensemble Cast Revealed As Final Schedule Commences

Mumbai, November 27 - Producer Sajid Nadiadwala's comedy entertainer Housefull 5 led by superstar Akshay Kumar has entered the final schedule of filming. Dostana fame Tarun Mansukhani is directing the film with Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment producing. ## On Wednesday (November 27), the makers announced the commencement of the final schedule and to celebrate the legacy of the film, the entire massive ensemble star cast was also unveiled. It is the first franchise to reach the 5th instalment and has been shot on a luxurious cruise starting from London to France to Spain and back to the UK. ## The film was originally announced with Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh before many other actors joined them. Box Office: 'Kal Ho Naa Ho' Re-Release Second Weekend Collection

Mumbai, November 25 - Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan, and Preity Zinta-starrer two-decade-old romantic comedy Kal Ho Naa Ho continued to impress in its re-release run at the box office amid the few other choices available. ## Directed by Nikhil Advani, the movie was re-released on November 15 and scored approximately 2.40 crores gross collection in the first week. It remained the number 1 choice in the second weekend among the re-release titles and grossed solid around 1.30 crores. ## After 10 days, the total re-release collection of KHNH is around 3.70 crores gross (3.15 crores net), making it already one of the biggest Bollywood re-release grossers of the year. It comfortably beat Karan Arjun and Pushpa - The Rise which got re-released this past weekend and minuted around 1 crore and 70 lakh gross, respectively in the opening weekend. ## With new releases slowing down, KHNH should run steadily until December 5, when the highly anticipated Pushpa 2—The Rule will be released. Box Office: 'Karan Arjun' and 'Pushpa - The Rise' Re-Release Opening Weekend Collection

Mumbai, November 24 - There were a couple of re-releases this weekend at the Hindi box office in the form of Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan-fronted cult classic Karan Arjun and Allu Arjun-starrer Pushpa - The Rise of which the sequel is gearing up for December 5 release worldwide. ## Karan Arjun, directed by Rakesh Roshan, had a wide re-release with over 2000 shows scheduled daily during the opening weekend. However, the movie couldn't replicate the success of the recent Bollywood re-releases and ended with the opening of around 1 crore gross collection. ## There wasn't much movement in the collection after the opening day of around 30 lakh gross as Saturday figures were almost similar to Friday and on Sunday, the movie is expected to gross around 40 lakh. With a not-so-encouraging opening weekend after a wide re-release, Karan Arjun is unlikely to have much impact during the weekdays. ## Allu Arjun's Pushpa - The Rise also had a wide re-release this weekend in Hindi and managed to gross around 70 lakh in the opening weekend. There wasn't much awareness about the re-release of the film among the audiences so whatever it has earned is a bonus. ## The Sukumar's directorial, which was originally released in 2021, grossed around 20 lakh on its first day of re-release, followed by 25 lakh each on Saturday and Sunday. Box Office: 'Kal Ho Naa Ho' Set To Win Weekend Against 'Karan Arjun' In Re-Release

Mumbai, November 23 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's two cult classics, romantic comedy Kal Ho Naa Ho and reincarnation action drama Karan Arjun which also has superstar Salman Khan, got re-released recently but there seems to be not much interest for the letter. ## Karan Arjun (1995), directed by Rakesh Roshan, got one of the widest re-releases for a Bollywood movie, however, the anticipation seems isn't that much the makers hoped for as it is not getting much audience in theatres. ## The film grossed approximately 30 lakh on its opening day which is, even though among the top openings for a Bollywood re-release, is nowhere near the expected start considering the wide release. It is not showing much improvement on Saturday with collection expected to be in the same range as Friday. ## Meanwhile, Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003), which was re-launched on November 15, looks like will be winning the re-release race against Karan Arjun despite a much smaller release. After grossing approximately 2.40 crores in the first week, the film started the second weekend with around 20 lakh gross collection on the second Friday (8th day). ## The Nikkhil Advani's directorial has taken a lead over Karan Arjun on Saturday as it is expected to gross over 50 lakh. 'Cocktail' Sequel In The Works With Shahid Kapoor

Mumbai, November 23 - With franchises making waves at the Bollywood box office, more and more standalone films are getting sequels and the latest to join this trend is 2012's romantic comedy Cocktail which was headlined by Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Diana Penty. ## Directed by Homi Adajania and produced by Maddock Films with others, Cocktail was a box office hit with over 120 crores gross collection worldwide. Now, more than a decade later when franchises are succeeding at the box office, Maddock Films has put Cocktail 2 in the making. ## According to the report by Peepingmoon.com, producer Dinesh Vijan has been working idea of the sequel with director Homi Adajania and they've now crafted a storyline that they believe matches the magic of the first film. 'Bhagam Bhag 2' Officially Confirmed

Mumbai, November 23 - The sequel to Akshay Kumar, Govinda, and Paresh Rawal's comedy entertainer Bhagam Bhag has officially been confirmed after the news first broke out recently. The OG trio will return to headline the second instalment. ## It was reported that rights for the sequel were recently acquired from Shemaroo Entertainment by Sarita Ashwin Varde of Roaring River Productions, who has also been simultaneously working on the film's script. Mumbai, November 16 - Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor was roped in to headline Pooja Entertainment's mega-budgeted epic Ashwatthama: The Saga Continues. Kannada director Sachin B. Ravi of Avane Srimannarayana fame was on board to direct the film. ## Since the announcement, the film, however, has faced delays and challenges and now, according to the report by Mid-Day, the project has been put on hold indefinitely due to budgetary constraints. Box Office: 'Singham Again' and 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' Collect Over 100 Crore Net Combined In The Second Week

Mumbai, November 14 - The Diwali weekend Bollywood releases, Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 are battling it out to finish on top as they completed two weeks at the box office where the latter might edge past the Rohit Shetty's directorial.## After scoring over 300 crores net collection (331 crores) in the first week, both the films witnessed a collective drop of around 65% in the second one for a combined approximately 106 crores net. BB3, which legged behind by approximately 15 crores net to Singham Again after the 1st week, has reduced that gap to just 4 after the following week. ## The Kartik Aaryan-fronted horror-comedy has minted approximately 58 crores net in the second week, pushing the total collection to around 217 crores after 14 days. Box Office: 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' Crosses 200 Crore India Net

Mumbai, November 13 - Kartik Aaryan-fronted horror-comedy emerged as a big box office hit and became the 4th Bollywood film of 2024 to cross 200 crores net collection. The movie achieved this milestone on its second Monday (11th day). ## Directed by Anees Bazmee, BB3 scored 204 crores net until the second Monday which made it the 37th Bollywood movie and 41st film ever in Hindi to breach the 200 crores net mark. It was released in a clash with Ajay Devgn's Singham Again which topped double century in 10 days. ## BB3 is the maiden film of Kartik Aaryan, Triptii Dimri, Vidya, and Madhuri Dixit as well as for director Bazmee to enter the 200 crore net club. Box Office: 'Singham Again' and 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' Second Monday Early Estimates

Mumbai, November 11 - Kartik Aaryan's horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has crossed 200 crores net collection after a decent hold on its second Monday. It has become the first movie of the actor to breach the milestone. ## According to the early estimates, the Anees Bazmee's directorial movie scored an estimated 5-5.50 crores net collection on its second Monday (11th day), dropping around 70% from the first Monday. This pushes the total cume to around 204 crores net which is fantastic. ## The second full week of BB3 is probably heading for around 55+ crores net which will take its total collection to around 213+ crores net before Suriya's Kanguva arrives on November 14 which is expected to get a good number of screens. It needs to be seen how much it will affect the holdover. ## Ajay Devgn's cop action drama Singham Again surpassed the 200 crores net mark on its second Sunday and held decently on Monday for an estimated 4-4.50+ crores net, dropping around 75% from the first Monday. This takes the total collection to around 211 crores net in 11 days. ## Singham 3 is expected to score 46-47 crores net second weekend, and it will be interesting to see how to perform there once the completion increases.
