Los Angeles, December 21 - Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Studios' Superman movie got off to an excellent start as the first trailer of James Gunn's directorial brought in a record viewership in the history of the studio, according to the filmmaker himself. ## Gunn announced on social media that the first trailer of Superman, starring David Corenswet as the new Man of Steel, scored 250+ million views across social media platforms in the first 24 hours. The maverick filmmaker also declared it the biggest trailer launch in Warner Bros. and DC Studio's history. ## "Krypto really did take us home: With over 250 million views and a million social posts, Superman is officially the most viewed and the most talked about trailer in the history of both DC and Warner Bros. Marvel Confirms 'Black Panther 3 Is Officially In Development

Los Angeles, December 19 - Marvel Studios has officially put the third instalment of Black Panther in development with producer Nate Moore returning. Marvel boss Kevin Feige has confirmed the development in an interview with Deadline. ## "Nate has been a core member of our team since 2010, and his influence will continue to reverberate in our storytelling. Although we'll miss him a great deal, we look forward to watching what he does next while also having the good fortune of working with him in a new way on our next Black Panther movie", Feige said. ## The production timeline of Black Panther 3 is not yet known. Ryan Coogler is expected to return to direct the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) blockbuster while Denzel Washington confirmed that he would be playing the antagonist role in the film. ## The third film will follow on from 2022's Black Panther: Wakanda Forever – which itself is a sequel to Black Panther from 2018. This is the lowest opening in the Venom franchise and the lowest ever for a comic book trilogy. ## In the Venom franchise, the film is nowhere close to the opening of the first two movies. Box Office: 'Venom: The Last Dance' Takes A Good Opening In India

Mumbai, October 25 - Sony Pictures' superhero movie Venom: The Last Dance has taken a good start at the Indian box office. The movie was released a day earlier than the North American debut on Wednesday. ## The film, despite the shows starting post-afternoon, beat the first two Venom movies' openings to score one of the biggest starts for Sony Pictures' Spider-Man Universe. It scored approximately 5.60 crores gross ($665K) on all versions on its first day. ## This is the best start for a Venom movie in India, beating the opening of the first Venom which minted approximately 5.25 crores gross collection in 2018. The second film, Venom: Let There Be Carnage was released during the Covid-19 pandemic and minted approximately 3.50+ crores gross opening. ## The initial word of mouth for Venom 3 seems to be mixed which has been the case with the previous films in the franchise as well. Russo Brothers Provide 'Avengers: Doomsday' Filming Update

Los Angeles, October 22 - At the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) earlier this year, Marvel Studios president Kavin Feige stunned the entertainment world by announcing that Robert Downey Jr. would return to MCU to play the antagonist as Doctor Doom in the upcoming Avengers movies - Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars. ## Feige also announced that the Russo Brothers would make their Marvel comeback to direct both - Doomsday and Secret Wars which were scheduled to be released on 1 May 2026, and 7 May 2027, respectively. Now, Russo Brothers have provided a filming update for Avengers: Doomsday. ## During an interview at New York Comic Con with Collider, the director duo confirmed that Doomsday will officially begin filming in the spring of 2025. It was also reported that both movies will be shot separately unlike Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019), both directed by Russos, which were filmed simultaneously.## While not much has been revealed yet about the film, the filmmaker duo confirmed that all four core members of The Fantastic Four will also star in Doomsday alongside Robert Downey Jr. The Fantastic Four: First Steps, starring Pedro Pascal, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Vanessa Kirby, and Joseph Quinn, is slated for July 25, 2025, release.## There have been a lot of rumours about who will feature in the next Avengers movie, however, other than the aforementioned actors, only Doctor Strange star Benedict Cumberbatch is confirmed to star in the film and the actor himself confirmed the development recently. ## Stay tuned...

Los Angeles, October 21 - Marvel Studios' Deadpool and Wolverine continues to climb higher and higher at the box office and with its blockbuster run coming to an end, the movie made a final push to beat last year's mega-blockbuster Barbie domestically (North America).## Deadpool & Wolverine grossed a solid $680K in its 13th weekend to push its total cume to $636.3 million at the domestic box office, officially beating Barbie's full run of $636.2 million. With this, it has become the 12th highest-grossing movie ever in North America.## As said, the movie is in its last leg of the theatrical run and will finish as the 12th biggest grosser in the home market. Disney's 'Moana 2' Box Office Projection Revealed

Los Angeles, October 19 - Disney's upcoming animated musical adventure film Moana 2 is gearing up to hit the big screens in November last week of 2024 and it is expected to make a big splash at the box office. ## According to Deadline, the sequel is tracking to earn $105 million - $115 million over its 5-day Wednesday to Sunday opening weekend, and $75 million - $82 million of that during its Friday-Sunday weekend at the domestic box office.
