Mumbai, January 2 - The year 2022 has proved to be not much successful as the industry just witnessed only 5 hit films. They are The Kashmir Files, Gangubai Kathiawadi, Bhool Bhulaiya 2, Drishyam2, and Brahmastra. Not only the year 2022 witnessed very fewer hits but also there have been so many huge disasters like Circus, Laal Singh Chaddha, Ram Setu, Thank God, Bachchan Pandey, Heropanti2, and Jersey among others.## 2023 is a very important year for the Hindi film industry. There will be many huge event films released on the big festive weekends of 2023 but we have picked up 5 films that carry the maximum potential and if the content of these films clicks the sky will be limited in terms of business at the box office.## Tiger3 is the biggest event film of 2023. It's 3rd part of the Blockbuster franchise which started in 2012 with Ek Tha Tiger which went on to become the second-highest-grossing film in history. Tiger Zinda Hai repeated the same phenomenon in 2017 and the expectations from the third part are similar. The star cast looks massive with Salman Khan playing the title role of legendary spy, Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi. The film will be produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films which is the biggest banner. The film will be directed by Maneesh Sharma who has earlier directed Shah Rukh Khan in Fan who will also be part of Tiger3 reprising his role of Pathaan. Tiger3 will see a grand release on Diwali 2023.## Dunki directed by Raj Kumar Hirani who has earlier directed mega-blockbusters like 3 idiots, PK, and Sanju will return at the box office with Shah Rukh Khan. The film is carrying huge expectations due to the Raju Hirani factor as to date he has directed five major hits at the box office with a 100% ratio. Dunki will release on Xmas 2023 weekend.## Adipurush which has been in the news for multiple reasons is seen as a potential box-office blockbuster. The Om Raut-directed is based on the epic Ramayana and features Prabhas as Lord Rama along with Kriti Sanon as Sita and Saif Ali Khan as Raavan. It is scheduled to release on June 16, 2022.## Animal whose first poster was just released and getting immense positive feedback is another film that might do wonders in 2023. The film is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga who earlier directed the super blockbuster Kabir Singh which was the biggest hit of 2019. Ranbir Kapoor who is the most popular star of the young generation might deliver another blockbuster next year. The film will release on 11th August 2023 coinciding with Independence day weekend.## Pathaan which will start at the 2023 box office from 25th January onwards is probably the hottest film in the first half of 2023. Directed by Sidharth Anand who has earlier directed War which became the highest-grossing film of 2019 Pathaan stars Shah Rukh Khan in the title role along with Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. Salman Khan will also reprise his iconic role of Tiger in Pathaan making it a true multi-starrer event film.## Bade Miyan Chote Miyan directed by Ali Abbas Zafar who has earlier directed two huge blockbusters in the form of Sultan (2016) and Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) will team up with two action superstars Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff. The film will be released on Xmas 2023 clashing with Shah Rukh Khan and Raj Kumar Hirani's Dunki.## These aforementioned films are the biggest event Bollywood films of 2023 but there are a few more huge films like Bholaa, Tu Jhuti Main Makkar, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, Jawan, Selfie, Oh My God, Ganapath, Bawaal, Sam Bahadur, among others. ## Stay tuned...
