The Shoot Of Vicky Kaushal, Sara Ali Khan's Film With Laxman Utekar Completed; Releases In Theaters In 2nd Half Of 2022

Mumbai, January 27 - Actor Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan have wrapped up the shoot for director Laxman Utekar's yet-untitled film. Produced by Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films, the makers announced the shoot wrap on Thursday (Jan 27) and also shared the first look of the lead pair.## Vicky Kaushal took to Instagram and shared a beautiful not and first look of the film. Bhumi Pednekar Gears Up For A Jam-Packed Year With Half A Dozen Releases

Mumbai, January 27 - Actress Bhumi Pednekar, who was last seen in "Durgamati" in 2020, had not a single release in the following year due to the covid-19 pandemic. The "Bala" actress, however, has the jam-packed year of 2022 with as many as six releases, if all goes per plan. ## To begin with, Bhumi is gearing up for the release of the social dramedy "Badhaai Do". This Harshavardhan Kulkarni-directed serves as a spiritual sequel to the 2018 film "Badhaai Ho". Co-starring Rajkummar Rao, "Badhaai Do" is about a couple in a lavender marriage. Produced by Junglee Pictures, the movie is slated for February 11 release in theaters. ## Apart from "Badhaai Do", Bhumi has five more films lined up to release this year. Kartik Aaryan's 'Shehzada' Makers Defend The Actor After Being Accused Of 'Unprofessional Behaviour'

Mumbai, January 25 - After the Hindi theatrical release of the Telugu movie "Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo" called off, distributor Manish Shah, who holds the Hindi dubbed rights of AVPL, accused Kartik Aaryan of his unprofessional behavior towards the release. Kartik is leading the Hindi remake of AVPL in the form of "Shehzada", and Shah said that he threatened the makers to quit the film if the dubbed film was released in theatres. ## However, a day after Shah's accusations, the makers of "Shehzada" have defended the actor and called him one of the most professional actors. Producer Bhushan Kumar said the Kartik has nothing to do with the AVPL release and said he along with other producers requested Manish Shah to not release the movie as it might affect the Hindi remake which is already in production. ## "We felt that 'Shehzada' should release in theatre first and not the Hindi version of 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo', hence we requested Goldmines not to release the Hindi version. I have known Kartik since the beginning of his career. We have done multiple films together. He is one of the most professional actors I have worked with", Bhushan Kumar said as reported by TOI. ## Rohit Dhawan, who is directing "Shehzada", added in the defense of "Dhamaka" actor, "Kartik's intent and excitement for 'Shehzada' is unquestionable. It's been a joy working with him. As director and actor, we share a solid bond and nothing can come in the way of our love for the film".## Producer Aman Gill also has nice things to say about Kartik as he called him one of the most dedicated actors in the industry. "Shehzada", which is co-produced by Allu Arvind, who also co-produced the original Telugu version, is currently under production. Manish Shah Accuses Kartik Aaryan Of Unprofessional Behaviour Towards 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' Hindi Release

Mumbai, January 25 - Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan is once again in the spotlight for the negative things as he has again been accused of unprofessional behavior. As we all know, Kartik Aaryan is doing the Hindi remake of Allu Arjun's Telugu blockbuster "Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo" in the form of "Shehzada". ## Manish Shah of Goldmines Telefilms, who holds the Hindi dubbing rights of AVPL, was supposed to release the film in theaters on January 26, which has now been called off. ## It was reported that "Shehzada" makers had urged Shah to not release the film as it might harm the Hindi remake when it will be released in theaters. While it is true the "Shehzada" makers did urge for the same, Manish Shah has accused Kartik Aaryan of his unprofessional behavior towards the release of AVPL. ## Shah, in a chat with IndiaToday.in, said that Kartik Aaryan threatened "Shehzada" makers to quit the film if AVPL releases in Hindi. "The makers of Shehzda were not keen to release the Hindi version in cinemas. Also, Kartik Aaryan said if the movie was released in theatres, he would walk out of the film, which would have caused Shehzada producers a loss of Rs 40 crores. It was extremely unprofessional of him", told Manish Shah. ## This is not the first time Kartik has been in the controversy. He was also accused of unprofessional behavior towards Dharma Productions' "Dostana 2", which resulted in his omission from the movie. Dharma, in a statement, however, refused to divulge details and said that it would maintain a 'dignified silence' on the matter. It is said that Kartik had already shot some of his portions for the film and his exit cost the makers rs. 20 crores lose. ## Manish Shah, meanwhile, said that calling off the theatrical release of AVPL has cost him rs. 20 crores lose and prevent more losses, he will now release the film on his channel on February 6. He said that he stopped the theatrical release of AVPL only for Allu Arvind, who is co-producing "Shehzada" with Bhushan Kumar and Aman Gill. Allu Arvind had also co-produced the original Telugu movie. ## "Shehzada", which is being directed by Rohit Dhawan, is slated to release in theaters on November 4, 2022. Prabhas' 'Radhe Shyam' Release Date Depends On SS Rajamouli's 'RRR'!

Mumbai, January 23 - The covid-19 third wave has once again left the Indian film industry with nothing but to reshuffle the release dates of theatrical films. ## Filmmaker SS Rajamouli has booked two slots for the release of "RRR". The mega-budgeted, which was supposed to release on January 7, will now release either on March 18 or April 29, depending upon the covid-19 scenario in the country. It will, however, have to face stiff competition with Bollywood biggies, "Bachchan Pandey" (March 18) and "Runway 34" (April 29) on both occasions. ## Meanwhile, one of the Pan-India tentpole movies postponed from Sankranthi 2022 is Prabhas' romantic drama "Radhe Shyam". It was to release on January 14, and now, according to reports, it will come either Holi or Eid this year. ## According to industry sources (via Bollywood Hungama), the "Radhe Shyam" release date is depending on "RRR". If "RRR" comes on Holi, then Prabhas-starrer will have a grand release on April 29. On the reverse scenario, "Radhe Shyam" will be released on March 18 or March 25. It has more chances of coming on March 25, to avoid a direct clash with "Bachchan Pandey". ## "Radhe Shyam" is directed by Radhe Krishan Kumar and the plot of the film is set in the Europe of the 1970s. It also stars Pooja Hegde as the female lead opposite Prabhas. Ajay Devgn's Maidaan To Have Multilingual Release

Mumbai, January 23 - Ajay Devgn's sports drama film Maidaan is all set the be released in the Bengali language as well. According to a report published in Mid-Day, the makers of the film are planning to release the movie in Bengali as well given the fact that Kolkata is the hub of Indian football.## A source told Mid-Day, "Football is gaining prominence in India today as a sport. 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' Hindi Theatrical Release Called Off Due To Kartik Aaryan's 'Shehzada'

Mumbai, January 21 - A few days after the announcement of the theatrical release of Allu Arjun's "Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo" in Hindi, Manish Shah of Goldmines Telefilms has called off such plans. The reason is quite obvious as the Hindi remake of this popular Telugu movie is already under development and the Hindi release of AVPL could have hampered its chances. ## It is said that Allu Arvind, the producer of both Telugu and Hindi versions of AVPL, flew down to Mumbai to stop the dubbed theatrical release of the film. He introduced the idea of releasing dubbed versions on satellite channels more than a decade ago and continuing to do that. ## The recently released Allu Arjun's "Pushpa - The Rise", however, brought Goldmines Telefilms in the spotlight like never before. The company released the Hindi version of the film in theaters and it surprised one and all with its blockbuster success, by collection over Rs. 85 crores.## Manish Shah is now gearing up to release the Hindi version of Allu Arjun's 2020 blockbuster "Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo" in theaters on January 26. Interestingly, the Hindi remake of the film is currently under production starring Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles. ## Since the remake of AVPL is in the works, it was recently reported that the makers of "Shehzada" had paid Rs. 8 crores to Manish Shah to not air AVPL on television as it might affect their film when it releases in theaters. Manish Shah, however, has denied getting paid for not to air the film.## "Not at all", Shah told Bollywood Hungama. "All these films have been brought to my channel. Hence, I don't need to sell it to any other channel. Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is also one such film. It's a blockbuster. I'll play it on my channel. I have nothing to do with the makers of Shehzada".## Manish Shah, meanwhile, is planning to release the Hindi version of Ram Charan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu's "Rangasthalam", directed by Sukumar, in February in theaters. The theatrical release of the film, however, depends on the outcome of AVPL. To what lengths they go to achieve their goal forms the crux of this story. ## Set during the 2020 lockdown, the film appears to be a quickie trying to pass off the story as a relevant tale of our times. ## The narrative begins with migrants returning to their roots. Jay Prakash (Sanjay Mishra), aka JP, a smooth-talking opportunist, and father of two grown-up children, with the help of Benny (Ashwini Kalsekar), the housekeeper of 36 Farm House, manages to wriggle his way as a chef, into the house of Eighty-five-year-old Padmini Raj Singh (Madhuri Bhatia) the owner of 36 Farm House and its 300-acre property who had bequeathed her assets to her oldest son Raunak (Vijay Raaz). JP gets the job purely because he convinced Raunak that he is a lone soul, unmarried, and with no family members to claim his own. ## While JP is nearly settling in 36 Farm House, he learns about Benny's devious plan of stealing from her employers. During the same time, his son Harry (Amol Parashar), who was an assistant to Designer Manish Malhotra by happenstance, meets the designer Antra (Barkha Singh), who is heading to her grandmother Padmini's residence. Together they come to 36 Farm House. ## To add to the chaos is JP's concerned and worried wife Shantishree, who lands up at 36 Farm House in search of her husband while an investigation into the murder of a young lawyer, who was deputed by Padmini's younger sons- Gajendra and Virendra, to get their mother's will changed, looms large over 36 Farm House. ## But the plot, instead of focusing on the three sons, factors in several other characters with their motive, thereby diluting the narrative and reducing it into a farce. The writing as well as the direction, are purely perfunctory, very mundane, and mediocre to digest. The humour too- only elicits chuckles. ## On the performance front, every actor is within their comfort zone. Therefore they deliver staid and routine performances. ## The songs in the film have the flavour of the 1990s and are so reminiscent of Subhash Ghai's repertoire. ## Mounted with moderate production values, the film is a bit disappointing since it comes from the stable of Subhash Ghai's Mukta Arts Ltd. ##

She says even though she feels happy to be back in work, her body requires more rest. ## Swara said, "I was supposed to dub for this film earlier, but unfortunately, it got delayed due to COVID-19. I have been feeling very pressured about having to complete my work for the movie. As soon as I tested negative for COVID, I flew to Mumbai and headed for the dubbing straight from the airport. I am glad to be back at work and I am really enjoying dubbing as it is a process I enjoy in general too." ## However, she also mentioned how she is still taking more time to deal with the fatigue that happens post-Covid. ## "Covid fatigue is a real thing and I have realised that while being back at work; the weakness that it leaves is very real so I am trying to rest adequately and also ensuring that I continue working.
