Mumbai, June 18 - Ranbir Kapoor is gearing up for the blockbuster year ahead with two mega-budgeted films - "Shamshera" and "Brahmastra". Ranbir was last seen in the biographical drama film "Sanju" in 2018 and will now be making his big-screen comeback with Yash Raj Films' period action drama film "Shamshera". ## Ranbir is playing a larger-than-life hero character in "Shamshera", which is touted to be YRF's most ambitious film yet. Meanwhile, a poster featuring Ranbir as Shamshera has been leaked on social media, and it has gone viral. Since Saturday morning, fans are sharing the poster and cannot stop talking about it. ## The leaked poster gives a glimpse of Ranbir Kapoor in a heavily bearded avatar, looking intense. The first-look poster is something we have rarely seen before in Hindi cinema, and it is exciting for the audiences. It is said that YRF was planning to kick-start the promotion and was launching this poster next week. ## According to Bollywood Hungama, YRF has admitted that the poster in question was official and it has indeed been leaked. The makers will now re-arrange their plans to begin the promotion of the movie. Shaktimaan Movie To Be Made In A Budget of Rs. 300 Crores

Mumbai, June 18 - The iconic television show, "Shaktimaan" was a huge hit when it was first aired in 1997. Mukesh Khanna played the titular superhero character and his alter ego Pandit Gangadhar Vidhyadhar Mayadhar Omkarnath Shastri, a photographer for the newspaper Aaj Ki Aawaz.## The legendary superhero character, which made the childhood of 90s kids awesome, will now be returning to the big screen in the form of the "Shaktimaan" trilogy. Sony Pictures, which is behind the Marvel superhero films like "Spider-Man", and "Venom", hold the rights to the film. ## In a recent conversation with Amar Ujala, Mukesh Khanna shared a few details about the movie and also hint who could play the titular role. The actor, and producer said that it will be made on a huge budget of Rs. 300 crores and will have full desi vibes. ## "This project has come to me after many years. People used to tell me to make Shaktimaan 2. I didn't want to bring Shaktimaan back on TV", Khanna said. "After internal talks, I joined hands with the Sony people and later made the news public. People want to know what’s happening next. Now, what should I tell them? This is a big film of at least Rs 300 crore. Can't tell you much about it till everything is finalized". ## "This movie is being made by the makers of Spider-Man. But, Shaktimaan will be desi. I have prepared the story of the film in my own way. My only condition to them was that they wouldn't change the story", he added. ## Mukhesh Khanna hints that he might turn Shakitmaan again as he feels that the Indian audience will not accept anyone else in this iconic role. "People ask who will become Shaktimaan? This is also a very big question in itself, which I will not answer, but it is also certain that without Mukesh Khanna, there will be no Shaktimaan. Because if someone else becomes Shaktimaan, then the whole country will not accept him", he added. ## Earlier this year, Sony Pictures made the official announcement of the movie and also gave the first look at Shakitmaan's new suit. These movies have not only performed extraordinarily at the box office but also were hailed critically. ## Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar also praised the highest Indian grosser of the year "KGF Chapter 2" but it seems he is not happy with critics' overwhelming response to it. The filmmaker in a recent interview said that had "KGF 2" been made in Bollywood, critics would have slammed it left, right, and center. ## "When I read the reviews of KGF, I'm like if we made this, we would be lynched. Megastar Chiranjeevi Approached For The Voiceover of Brahmastra's Telugu Version?

Hyderabad, June 12 - Filmmaker Ayan Mukerji's "Brahmastra" is easily one of the most-awaited Pan-India movies of the year and the makers are leaving no stone unturned to make it one of the biggest event films of Indian cinema. The trailer of this visual spectacle will be released on June 15. ## Produced by Dharma Productions in association with Star Studios, the makers of "Brahmastra" joined hands with SS Rajamouli to present the movie in South Indian languages, they are also planning to bring megastar Chiranjeevi on board.## Director Ayan Mukerji reportedly has had a special meeting with Chiranjeevi and it went off well. It is said that the Megastar has been approached for the Voiceover of the film's Telugu version, however, it is not yet confirmed as the details about the collaboration have been kept secret for now. ## The promotion of the film has already begun nearly 3 months before the release. The movie stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Mouni Roy in prominent roles. Mumbai, June 12 - Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 witnessed a massive growth on the fourth Saturday of its box office run as the collections saw a jump of around 93%. The film collected 3.01 crores net on the fourth Saturday. Bhool Bhulaiya 2 is set for further growth today though the growth will unlikely to be like yesterday's growth. Box Office: Samrat Prithviraj Second Saturday Early Estimates

Mumbai, June 11 - Samrat Prithviraj starring Akshay Kumar in the titular role has failed at the box office as the film is collecting very low figures on the daily basis. The only positive of the film is that it had a decent run in a few single-screen cinemas. The early estimated collections of Samrat Prithviraj on its second Saturday are around 2.30 crores net which will be around 25% up from yesterday but now these jumps hardly matter as the film is collecting too low now. The second Saturday collections will push the entire collections of Samrat Prithviraj to around 59cr net box office collections. Tomorrow the film may see a further jump of around 20% but after that, it will be the end of the run with very negligible collections afterward. The lifetime collections can cross 70cr or it may remain lower will only be known on the second Monday. It will be back-to-back disasters for Yash Raj Films as even Jayesh Bhai Jordaar got flopped very badly at the ticket window.
