Allu Arjun's new film is on sandalwood smuggling, confirms second poster

Hyderabad, April 8 (IANS) On the occasion of Telugu star Allu Arjun's 37th birthday, the makers of his upcoming film took to social media to announce the title of his next film, and also share the posters.## Titled "Pushpa", the posters of the Sukumar directorial show the stylish star in a rugged and rustic avatar. While the first look poster shows a close-up of the star, the second poster shows him seated crossed-legged on the ground with police officers standing in the background while sandalwood is being loaded onto a vehicle. The poster confirms the reports that the film is based on sandalwood smuggling, and will be set in a forest.## "First Look and the Title of my next movie 'P U S H P A'. Directed by dearest Sukumar Garu. Music by dearest friend @ThisIsDSP. Really excited about this one. Hoping all of you like it," tweeted Allu Arjun.## The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi. It is said that Allu Arjun has worked on his diction for this role, as he has to speak in a distinct accent.## While the music is by Devi Sri Prasad, Polish cameraman Miroslaw Kuba Brozek, who previously worked on Nani's "Gang Leader", is the cinematographer of the film. The shooting of the film will begin once the ongoing lockdown ends.## Allu Arjun's uncle Chiranjeevi took to his Twitter account to wish the actor. Mumbai, April 7 (IANS) Apart from social distancing, we also need to practice "fear distancing", suggests Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu. Hyderabad, April 7 (IANS) Telugu superstar Vijay Deverakonda has urged fans to use homemade masks and continue to remain safe at home.## "My loves, hope you are all staying safe. Cloth face covering will help the slow disease spread. Leave the medical masks for doctors and instead, use a handkerchief, use a scarf of your mom's chunni. Cover your face, stay safe. #MaskIndia," the actor wrote in his new Instagram post.## Vijay Deverakonda's view comes at a time when medical professionals are taking to social media, complaining about the lack of PPEs and masks.## Deverakonda isn't the only star to request fans to stay at home. From Chiranjeevi to Mahesh Babu, the biggest Tollywood stars are posting messages and videos asking fans to follow safety. Telugu actor-politician Balakrishna gives Rs 1cr in aid of COVID-19 fight

Hyderabad, 3 April (IANS) Telugu actor-politician Nandamuri Balakrishna has donated Rs 1.25 crore towards the fight against the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. He has donated Rs 50 lakh each to CM relief funds of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Rs 25 lakh towards the 'Corona Crisis Charity' welfare of cine workers of Telugu filmdom, which was initiated by Chiranjeevi.## In a video released by his team, he appreciated all front-line warriors -- the police, doctors, healthcare worker, and the governments -- for fighting to win against the pandemic. He also requested his fans to follow precautionary measures.## Colleague and friend Chiranjeevi took to his social media to express his appreciation.## "Thank you dear brother #Balayya #NBK for donating 25 lacs to #CoronaCrisisCharity & 50 lacs each to Telangana & AP Govts. You proved ur generous heart goes out to the needy every time.'' A few days back he tweeted "Rs.6.2 Cr has been collected so far by #CoronaCrisisCharity Heartfelt Thanks to each one of the contributors Appeal to everyone to come forward for this cause," wrote Chiranjeevi.## Chiranjeevi recently joined hands with Akkineni Nagarjuna, Varun Tej, and Sai Dharam Tej to record a special song to create awareness about the COVID-19 pandemic. This is something that I exactly wanted. When you are getting it, you should take the best of it. I think it's what we wish for. Rana Daggubati advises fans to stay at home

Hyderabad, March 30 (IANS) Telugu star Rana Daggubati has advised his fans to stay at home. Given the recent outbreak of COVID-19, the National award-winner star has urged people to follow precautions and stay at home during the lockdown.## He took to Instagram account to post his message.## "Waiting to run, out? Now is NOT the time!! #StayHomeStaySafe," the "Baahubali," wrote. He posted this along with a picture of his brightly colored pair of Jordan shoes.## A week ago Rana had posted a message on social media with a video welcoming the lockdown. "Go out ONLY & Only if it's absolutely important. Let's act with responsibility and do our bit to support the government in all the way. Stay Safe. Stay Healthy," he wrote.## Suresh Productions, the prestigious production house owned by his father Daggubati Suresh Babu, with key members including Rana and his uncle, actor Venkatesh Daggubati, recently donated Rs 1 crore to film and health department workers. The press note said: "Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, several lower-income groups in the industry are struggling to meet their daily needs. Shoots of all the films have to come to a standstill due to the coronavirus outbreak. Theatres also are shut down in the lockdown period."## While trying to manage fitness indoors, Rana also has regular video calls with his friends from the film industry. He recently had a video chat with his friends Trisha and Allu Arjun.## On the work front, Rana has completed the shoot of his multilingual next film, to be released as "Haathi Mere Saathi" in Hindi, "Kaadan" in Tamil, and "Aranya" in Telugu. The film is directed by Prabhu Solomon, and is the sequel to the Tamil film "Kumki". She meets a younger trainer in her gym, who falls in love with her. The plot revolves around how she responds to him and what reality checks she gets in life eventually," Anveshi said.## She added that the movie has a deep message "about women that when they speak openly about their desires & sexuality, they are considered as easily available."## "The movie shows another side of Rekha, who is committed towards her family and work, and is a very different person from how people perceive her," she said.## Anveshi was chosen for the role after makers saw her app where she talks about the art of seduction and related topics.## "They approached and I read the script . After discussing the role for a while, I was signed for the movie. The best part of working in this film was that I didn't have (had ) to act at all.## "It came out very naturally as all of it was inspired by my own life incidences and what I speak on my app about the art of seduction.
