Day One Advance Booking Comparison Between Marvel-Giants in India

Mumbai, Dec 14, 2021: Spiderman: No Way Home is recording extraordinary advance sales across the country with unbelievable sales. The numbers look even bigger as it is coming after the pandemic and that too for a Thursday release which is not normal for the trade and people. ## The Three Marvel Giants - Infinity War (2018), Avengers Endgame(2019), And Spiderman: No way home leads the Biggest advance on its opening day in India. There were huge Bollywood films like War and Thugs Of Hindustan but they just cannot stand in front of marvel-giants like Infinity War, Endgame, and Spiderman: Far From Home as far as first 24 hours sales go. ## Spiderman: No way Home has collected more than 6.56 Cr which is more than what infinity war had collected in 2018 which was around 5.02 Cr. However, in 2019 Avengers Endgame had collected more with 8.27 Cr collections. Mumbai, Dec 13, 2021: Spiderman: No Way Home goes berserk in advance sales across the nation and recording extraordinary advance sales for the film and all this are coming post-pandemic which makes this feat even bigger. ## The advanced sales at the moment are looking in the range of another marvel film - infinity war (2018). The advance in some stations of the south had already started last week and the response was unprecedented there and the response is the same in Mumbai and Delhi too. ## Spiderman: No Way Home's advance opened mainly in major properties of Imax and PVR and within an hour the advance collections crossed 50 lakhs net that too in a limited property. 15 shows of Spiderman: No Way Home at 3 IMAX properties of Mumbai are Almost Full In a Matter Of Two Hours. To put things to perspective, 2100 plus tickets sold in 2 hours at just the IMAX chains in Mumbai and This is just the beginning. ## This is great news as, since the release of Sooryvanshi on Diwali, the subsequent films failed to get an advance and even Sooryavanshi which was a big Diwali release didn't get good advance though Sooryavanshi did not open advance counters at most theatres even if it had, it would not have reached the level of Spiderman: No Way Home. ## The extraordinary advance of Spiderman: No Way Home confirms the fact that the film will open to an earth-shattering number on Thursday 16th December in cinemas. Mumbai, Dec 11, 2021: Spider-Man: No Way Home is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man co-produced by Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios and distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing. ## Spiderman: No Way Home is the sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) and Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019), and the 27th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film is directed by Jon Watts, written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, and stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker / Spider-Man alongside Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jacob Batalon, Jon Favreau, Marisa Tomei, J. B. Smoove, Benedict Wong, Jamie Foxx, Alfred Molina, Willem Dafoe, Thomas Haden Church, and Rhys Ifans. ## Sony released the Japanese poster of Spiderman: no way home which will debut in Japan on 7th January 2022. In terms of craze, Spiderman is the most popular western superhero in Japan. ## Speaking about India, the film is all set to arrive on 16th December(Thursday). Speaking about India, the buzz is such that, in some markets, the shows are starting as early as 5 am in morning. ## The Advance bookings have started at many centers and the response is excellent. Advance bookings at Prasads, Hyderabad - which will showcase SpiderMan in 24 shows on Day 1 - have seen fantastic sales and this is just the beginning.
