Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui Shows Growth On Its 2nd Day

Mumbai, Dec 12, 2021: Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui which had an average first day, had witnessed the highest 2nd-day growth for any film in 2021 which is an excellent sign for the film and the industry as this is an important film for the industry. ## After collecting 3.75 Cr on its first day, the film showed a jump of around 30% on its 2nd day and collected 4.87 Cr taking its two days total to 8.62 Cr. ## The growth is very good and more importantly, the circuits which didn't perform well on the first day performed better on 2nd day. The growth in the multiplexes of Mumbai, Pune, and Bengaluru signals a positive sign for the film while Delhi, NCR, and Chandigarh remain the dominating circuits. ## The film won't get much of a free run as many event films are lined up to release in the coming week so the film has to take the advantage of initial days. Tadap Slides Downard on 2nd Friday

Mumbai, Dec 11, 2021: Tadap slides downward on its 2nd Friday with collections of 1.03 Cr India net. The film has faced competition due to the release of Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui and lost a substantial amount of screens and shows but despite that, the film should have collected more on its 2nd Friday. ## The drop is approx 31% from Thursday as Thursday collected 1.51 Cr. The film is for the mass-youth audience and they should have to contribute this weekend too which will give the film a respected 2nd-weekend business. ## The total net all India collections are 22.07cr at the moment for Tadap and worldwide collections(Gross) is at around 28 Cr with overseas markets contributing around 1.95 Cr. ## Tadap is the launch of Suniel Shetty's son Ahan Shetty and he got some appreciation from the public and critics alike. Mumbai, Dec 11, 2021: Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui had an average opening as the film collected 3.75 Cr India net on its opening day. The film had underperformed as the expectation was there for over a 4 Cr opening day as the film has established faces like Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor. ## The film took a poor start in the morning though that was expected as generally, these multiplex-oriented films don't start very well from morning itself. The hope was that the film should grow in the evening which it did but only in north belts like NCR and Chandigarh and even there the growth was not like it should have. ## In the past, AAyushmann Khurrana had two films that had crossed double-digit on its opening day. Bala remains his Biggest opener with 10.15cr followed by Dream Girl at 10.05 Cr. ANTIM IS ON COURSE TO BE A SUCCESSFUL FILM

Mumbai, Dec 9, 2021: Antim - The Final Truth starring Ayush Sharma and supported by an extended special appearance by Salman khan released in theatres on 26th November 2021. The film was said to be an adaptation of the Marathi film Mulshi pattern and was directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. ## On 26th November, the film took a decent start with the first-day figures being at 5.03 Cr. The opening was not like it has to be but considering the main target market operating at 50% occupancy for a film that was totally regional in feel and non-cast in talent then the opening is decent. The film grew over the weekend and collected a healthy total of over 18 Cr. ## The weekdays hold was very crucial for Antim and it passed this period with a good amount of collections. There was a little drop on Wednesday and further on Friday due to the new release 'Tadap' but the drop was not at all alarming. As a result, the first week's business came over 29 Cr Nett. ## The film is still running and collecting well in cinemas with collections of over 35cr net at the moment. The lifetime collections are set to be in the 40-42cr range depending upon the hold in the 3rd week, which will make the film a decent successful film. According to a report published in a popular magazine 'Film Information' handled by Komal that, Antim has become a successful film if you don't look at the film as an out and out Salman khan starrer. The film was a part of 3 film deal with Zee and antim was valued at approx 30-35cr which had to be covered through satellite and digital.
