For sure, WWE is set to have multiple praisable things for the 2023 WrestleMania which is scheduled to be held as a two-night event, taking place on April 1 and 2, 2023, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California—the original location of WrestleMania 37 before the COVID-19 pandemic forced it to be relocated. ## It should be noted that this will be the first WrestleMania to take place following the retirement of Vince McMahon in July 2022; McMahon had served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the company since 1982 and created WrestleMania in 1985. ## In the five months since his retirement, WWE has worked on bringing changes and somewhere along the line it has worked with the fans' expectations. An interesting update has emerged regarding Sasha Banks, stating that she was said to be seeking a number along the levels of Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. ## Six-time WWE Women’s Champion Sasha Banks’ future with WWE has been under serious doubt ever since she decided to walk out midway during the shooting of WWE Monday Night RAW in May this year. ## A recent report from Fightful Select stated that Sasha Banks (real name Mercedes Varnado) negotiated an exit from WWE "months ago. Another report confirmed an agreement between Varnado's and New Japan Pro-Wrestling but also states that Varnado and NJPW reached an agreement in November. In the interview, Owens noted that after the Stone Cold match at WrestleMania, he figured ntohing was impossible. ## When Owens went to NXT for the KO Show, he had a sit down with Shawn Michaels and asked him if he'd considered having one last match with him. For Owens, he said it was so he could say that he wrestled his two favorites of all-time. ## According to Fightful Michaels told Owens that he'd be lying if he didn't think about doing another match, especially when he saw the kind of match that Steve Austin had with Kevin Owens at WrestleMania this year. However, he also said that he doesn't think he should. ## AJ Styles had also once pitched a match with Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania that got turned down. Roxanne Perez grabbed the attention when she defeated the previous champion, Mandy Rose, last night on NXT. ## Perez made her WWE debut on the April 15 episode of NXT Level Up where she defeated Sloane Jacobs. She made her first NXT appearance on April 19; defeating Jacy Jayne. Following her performance, she was added to the inaugural Iron Survivor Challenge and ended up winning it, thus she became the #1 contender for the NXT Women's Championship. ## On the December 13 episode of NXT, Perez defeated Rose in a title match to win NXT Women's Championship. The “Killer” script was written by Mark and Brian Gunn, and the project will be produced by John Rickard and Peter Safran. ## The film was packaged and set up at the studio before Safran took the reins with James Gunn at WB’s DC Films Unit. A Winner Takes All Ladder Match is set for next week's Monday Night Raw! ## The Miz has been furious ever since Dexter Lumis defeated him to earn a WWE contract. During the December 12th edition of Raw, there was a segment featuring Johnny Gargano/Dexter Lumis/Miz. ## Gargano and Lumis walked down the aisle and chucked merch into the crowd. This went on for a while until Miz shoved Lumis from behind, knocking Gargano down in the process. Miz grabbed the bag of money and tried to run away with it but he was cut off at the stage by Adam Pearce. ## Gargano said Lumis was willing to have a rematch next week in a ladder match with both bags of money hanging above the ring.
