WWE Clash At The Castle 2022 Rumored Matches Revealed

Rumored matches for WWE Clash at the castle 2022 are out! ## WWE Clash at the Castle will take place on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, marking WWE's first major stadium event to take place in the United Kingdom (UK) since the 1992 SummerSlam and the company's first PPV in general to take place in the UK since the 2003 Insurrextion. The event's title is a reference to Cardiff Castle, which is situated near the Principality Stadium. ## Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre for the unified WWE Universal title is scheduled to take place at the event. Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com noted that Riddle vs. Seth Rollins is “confirmed internally” even though it hasn’t officially been announced. Riddle vs. Rollins was originally scheduled for Summerslam but ended up being postponed. ## Ronda Rousey has been "suspended" as part of the WWE storyline, but a rematch between her and SmackDown Women's Champion Liv Morgan is rumored for a clash. New Matches Announced For WWE NXT 8/9/22

Tony D'Angelo, Santos Escobar, Nikkita Lyons and more superstars are set for WWE NXT next week! ## As announced, Zoey Stark will face Cora Jade on the August 9 NXT episode. This will be a short of the warm-up game as she is set to challenge Mandy Rose for the NXT Women's Championship at Heatwave on August 16. ## Stark got the opportunity to challenge Mandy Rose when she won a 20-woman battle royal on the July 19 NXT. Plush, Trick Williams will battle Wes Lee in an NXT UK-style rounds match. Lee looks to be next in line to face Carmelo Hayes for the NXT North American title, but needs to get through Williams first. ## Elsewhere, Nikkita Lyons will be in action against Kiana James next week. The two delivered dueling promos on each other in backstage segments this week. During his latest podcast/YouTube show, WWE's Pat McAfee talked about his SummerSlam match with Happy Corbin.## McAfee said, "There were some moments in that match that were really like, I should have prepared differently. For instance, just walking into the stadium. I took a nice deep breath of that humid air and it was thick. It was sauna thick down there because it was supposed to rain. Projections of the weather for like two weeks to a week out, even the morning of, was rain is coming. Whenever it's hot and rain is coming, that means it's humid as f*ck and I didn't even think about that as I was training in my basement in air conditioning."## “That immediately hit me the day of," McAfee continued. "I'm walking in and this is not in an arena or an enclosed area. This is going to be hot as f*ck out here. As I'm walking around, I start sweating and I haven't even done anything and I am drenched, so I started to hydrate earlier. I started to hammer some water and Gatorades. I definitely thought that I should have trained a little differently for this one. I should have gone outside a little bit. It was a little bit of a bush league on my part not to think about it being outside."## He added, "A lot of my offense off the ropes and with the ropes, the ropes were obviously wet. They were a little slick. The shoes I was wearing, I had not worn them on ropes. So there's a lot of things that as they were happening I was thinking to myself, 'F*cking idiot. Bush league. Fightful Select also reported that it has been confirmed that Becky sustained a separated shoulder and worked through most of the match with the injury. Brock Lesnar used the tractor to send Roman Reigns tumbling into the ring during their matchup at WWE SummerSlam 2022. ## In a match billed as “One last time. One last match,” Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar wrote a brutal and epic final chapter to their historic rivalry. Lesnar smiled as he drove to the ring in a tractor, standing atop the front-end loader to look down on Reigns as he announced himself as “the man who will kick Roman Reigns’ a**.” ## The Beast wasted little time diving off the tractor to plant Reigns with a Lou Thesz Press to kick off the match. During the match, Furious, Lesnar climbed back into his tractor and lifted the entire ring off the floor as Reigns rolled out the other end! ## The match ended up with Reigns and The Usos burying Lesnar underneath the rubble. AJ Styles Wrestled In A Match After WWE SmackDown This Week

Fans attending SmackDown's July 29 show in Atlanta on Friday night were in for a treat. AJ Styles, who lives in Gainesville, Georgia, participated in a one-on-one dark match against Happy Corbin when SmackDown went off the air.## Styles hit his phenomenal forearm finisher for the pin-fall victory. Seeing the victory of Raw Star, the fans left for home after being happy. Sadly, fans watching live on Fox didn't see the match going down.## AJ has been featured regularly on Raw in recent weeks, starting with a minor feud with The Miz and then teaming up with Dolph Ziggler to face The Alpha Academy. We'll see if this pairing was a one-off or will become a long-term story as Ziggler and Styles develop as a pair.## Another dark match featured Raquel Rodriguez, a rising SmackDown star who dominated NXT, going up against Shayna Baszler. Rodriguez came out on top after his signature Tejana bomb and successful pin.## Rodriguez has been featured in only one televised match since the Money in the Bank ladder match on July 2, where she and five other women lost to eventual winner Liv Morgan.
