Houston, May 15, 2021: Here is the full result for the co-main event fight between Tony Ferguson Vs. Beneil Dariush. ## First Round: The first round of the co-main event between Tony Ferguson Vs. Beneil Dariush kicks off. Beneil Dariush was very focused on the fight for the time being. Beneil Dariush with a kick to the leg. Beneil Dariush with a Takedown. ## However, Tony Ferguson got complete control, looking to control the submission, both with heavy exchanges, the crowd was so pumped for Tony. Beneil Dariush continued to hold the Takedown, Tony tried to move around with his leg touching the defense. The first round ended here. ## Second Round: It was 10-9 for Beneil Dariush after the first round. Beneil Dariush with another takedown, but this time Tony Ferguson had the advantage to lock Beneil Dariush in the submission. Beneil Dariush did a great job by staying calm. ## Beneil Dariush was on the top, apparently landing multiple shots to the head followed by elbows, Tony Ferguson also ran some elbows. Looks like we got leg submission from Beneil Dariush, Tony almost tapped out, he was in great agony but survived somehow. Things were getting hard for Tony to breathe as Beneil Dariush gave him no room. The round ended here. ## Thrid Round: The second round saw Tony away from tapping there. Beneil Dariush drove Tony into the fence and then went on to finish the Takedown. Tony got 4 minutes to bounce back. Heavy exchange from both, Matt just cracked left, but Rogério Bontorin responded with his own. ## A nice low calf kick for Rogério Bontorin as Matt staggered a little, Matt snapped a left hook, Matt fired up with more lefts. Rogério Bontorin was good at landing those Calf kicks. ## Second Round: The second opens up, A good high kick from Matt, a beautiful leg kick in the return from Rogério Bontorin. Another low calf kick for Rogério Bontorin, A beautiful combination for Matt. A nice connection with the left hand for Rogério Bontorin. ## A nice combination from Matt followed by a nice movement to avoid strikes from Rogério Bontorin, A nice follow-up from Rogério Bontorin. 1: 20 left. Rogério Bontorin connected a massive left hand as Matt was looking to be down, but handled it carefully. Matt looked almost down, Rogério Bontorin got some quick hands. ## Third Round: The final Round of the fight opens, a strong low leg kick for Rogério Bontorin, Matt was still moving after eating those Calf kicks from Rogério Bontorin. A beautiful combination there for Rogério Bontorin, he pummeled Matt against the fence followed by another massive knee. ## Rogério Bontorin immediately had a Takedown, They were getting ground and pound, Matt, back to his knees, but eat a lot of punches to the head. Katlyn grew up so good after a Takedown. ## Thrid Round: The final round opens up with a good Front kick for Katlyn in the middle. 4 minutes to go, Viviane Araújo was so weak at landing those Jabs, while, Katlyn kept popping up. Edson was really good at landing those Calf kicks, they felt panic for Shane Burgos. ## Edson with a good right, but got one back from Shane Burgo. A nice Spinning back for Edson followed by a Bodyshot. Shane Burgos with nice shots to the body followed by a strong right hand. This is fantastic, A nice Uppercut from Edson. Edson stunned Shane Burgos with a massive right hand. Those heavy Leg kicks from Edson really hurt Shane Burgos. ## Second Round: How entertaining that was?. Burgos was leading the dance until that spinning heel kick really brought Edson to life. 10-9 Barboza. Shane Burgos with a nice left, Another low leg kick from Edson. Edson was advancing with those leg kicks. A switch kick landed for Edson, A good right hand for Shane Burgos. ## Heavy strike landed for Edson, looks like Shane Burgos was down a little, A left hook to the body for Shane Burgos. A Spinning back kicks followed by a calf kick. Shane Burgos was really being affected with those Claf kicks, he received from Edson. A big Right hand for Edson. Another nice switch to the body. ## Third Round: The final round kicks off, Shane Burgos was looking a little active. Considered by many as one of the most marketable athletes in the history of combat sports, McGregor is ranked as the world's highest-paid athlete by Forbes in 2021, earning a reported $180 million. ## Conor McGregor topped the World’s Top-10 Highest-Paid Athletes in the World list whereby he pipped some of the most famous athletes including Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, LeBron James and Lewis Hamilton. ## According to Forbes, The ten highest-paid athletes in the world took home pretax gross earnings of $1.05 billion during the past 12 months, 28% more than last year’s top earners. ## The combined haul falls just a few million short of the $1.06 billion record set in 2018, the 12-month window in which boxer Floyd Mayweather earned $285 million, almost all of it from his 2017 pay-per-view fight with Conor McGregor. ## McGregor managed to top the list with a total of $180 million over the last 12 months; most of that comes from the recent sale of his majority stake in whiskey brand Proper No. Twelve to Proximo Spirits for $150 million. ## onor McGregor’s appearance at UFC 257 in January wasn’t the victorious return he had expected for—Dustin Poirier thumped over McGregor in his first UFC fight since January 2020.
