Here are the full results of a Welterweight fight between Gilbert Burns and Stephen Thompson, taking place on July 10, 2021, at T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada, part of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Area, United States. ## Check Out The Full Fight: ## 1st Round: The first round of Gilbert Burns vs. Stephen Thompson kicks off...not a single touch within the first minute of the round. Burns goes down to take Thompson down, but a good defense to avoid a takedown. Burns drags Thompson into the fence for a clinch. Burns gets the takedown. Thompson is still down on his back. ## Thompson back to his knees with a little prop of the fence, Thompson is back to the feet, but not completely out of the clinch. Burns connects big rights, but slips as well. The round ends here. ## Second Round: The second round kicks off...Thompson with spinning back kick, but Burns is able to avoid it. Thompson with a high kick to the left followed by a front leg kick. A UFC Middleweight Championship bout between current champion Israel Adesanya and Marvin Vettori headlines as the co-main event of UFC 263. ## First Round: The first round of the main event fight between Israel Adesanya (c) and Marvin Vettori kicks off...there is a no-touch of gloves. A tremendous focus thereby Vettori, moving well. Adesanya with a Body kick followed by a leg kick, but this gives Vetorri an advantage to scoring the first Takedown of the fight. ## A nice work by Adesanya as he gets back to his feet, Vettori still holds the clinch, both back to separation with Adesanya attaching Front kick. A pretty good head movement defensively. Looks like one connection there from Vettori. Front kick lands for Adesanya. Another nice left hook followed by a high kick to the head from Adesanya. ## Second Round: 10-9 Izzy after 1, First round to Style Bender. Really going to work with those leg kicks. Vettori bringing the pressure but didn’t do much besides the takedown. ## Adesanya again with a head kick and then catches Vettori with more shots. 1-2 for Vettori there, Adesanya is just doing a great job with movement, but Vettori still gets to land a right. Vettori is fighting up differently. Adesanya sets up another low kick, that one felt bad for Vettori. There is a clinch for Vettori. 40 seconds to go...both back to the middle, Adesanya follows up a high kick to the head, Vettori still moves on to the third round. ## Thrid Round: The seconds comes up...20-18 Izzy after 2, Vettori opens up the third round with a Takedown. Adesanya scrambles through the middle, Vettori takes the back, apparently locking the chin, but Adesanya with a nice reversal to get over Vettori. ## Vettori back to the middle after getting an eye poke, Adesanya slams massive right followed by an impactive Low leg kick to stun. Vettori checks for a Jab but looks like Vettori is down with those low leg kicks from Adesanya. Some decent right hands from Vettori. ## Adesanya points at the leg of Vettori as he slips down, Adesanya strikes with some punches followed by a low blow that takes Vettori off the fight for a while. ## Fourth Round: Fourth round opens up hard for Vettori as he gets struck by Adesanya. Vettori with a clinch and gets the Takedown, but Adesanya immediately stands on his feet followed by a low leg kick. ## A beautiful low kick by Vettori there, 2 minutes to go...both were moving well, while, Vettori seems too fatigue comparing to Adesanya. The round ends with a Clinch from Vettory. ## Fifth Round: 4-0 Izzy after 4...Adesanya with a high kick to shake Vettory up, Vettori works on clinch position. Adesanya separates followed by a fresh Headkick. 3 minutes to go...Adesanya acts like he is fainting and steals a low leg kick. ## Vettori once again with a clinch and drags him down for a Takedown attempt. The crowd louder boos, 10 seconds to go...The fight ends with a clinch. Brandon Moreno opens up...Brandon connects inside low leg kick, Brandon is looking very acute. Brandon with a left hook and then pummels Figueiredo with more shots. Brandon is looking supremely confidant, Both with a clinch, but Brandon breaks it with a knee to the ribs. ## Brandon is doing nice work, Figueiredo follows up a high kick, but Brandon ducks out. Brandon with a massive Jab as Figueiredo goes down, Brandon immediately runs to finish the game, but Figueiredo holds it up. Figueiredo back to his feet. Round one ends with Brandon leading. ## Second Round: Masterful first round for Brandon Moreno. Figgy still as dangerous as they come but what around for the challenger. Round two comes up with a beautiful Takedown for Figueiredo. Figueiredo completely under the hook. Figueiredo's left hand around the head is very dangerous, Brandon needs to get out immediately. ## Brandon scrabbles and gets out...Brandon holds the back of Figueiredo against the fence and then hits him hard on his back. Brandon with a nice Takedown, but a nice switch from Figueiredo. Brandon was still on the top, landing hard on the top. Figueiredo is content to control, a nice scrabble but Brandon is still able to maintain that Takedown. Moreno looking like a beast tonight. ## Third Round: 20-18 Brandon Moreno through two, Thrid round opens up...Figueiredo with a spinning body shot. Brandon with another Takedown and time he gets the body triangle. A welterweight sneed between Leon Edwards and formerly chucks UFC Lightweight Championship challenger Nate Diaz (also The Ultimate Fighter 5 lightweight winner) goes down at UFC 263. ## The Fight marks the first time in UFC history that a non-title bout other than the main event has been scheduled for five rounds. ## 1st Round: The first round of Leon Edwards vs. Nate Diaz kicks off...A couple of seconds, but nothing big comes up. A beautiful leg kick from Edwards followed by one more. Three low leg kicks landed for Edwards, Nate Diaz lands a low inside leg kick followed by a Front kick. ## Nate Diaz lands a body shot followed by a good shot as he touts in the middle. Edwards follows up a clinch and then gets Nate Diaz's back for a Takedown. Nate Diaz gets through punches to be out of the hold, Edwards was still grabbing the back, Nate Diaz goes for a scramble followed by a good left to be back on his feet as the round ends. ## Second Round: 10-9 Edwards after 1, leg kicks have been the big part for Edwards to advance in the fight. Nate Diaz with some fun out there, meanwhile, Edwards with another leg kick as he does. Nate Diaz follows up Inside low leg kick. ## An interesting approach as both go for a heavy exchange, Edwards goes for another Takedown, A beautiful job gets Nate Diaz back to his feet. Edwards stuns Nate Diaz with one right followed by a good left hook from Nate Diaz. Diaz looks very strong with that clinch, Edwards switches immediately and ends the round with a spinning elbow. ## Third Round: Round three goes live with a big right for Nate Diaz, they are getting close. Another massive low kick for Edwards, while, Nate Diaz grabbed him for a clinch for a short while. Edwards is going strong right now, Nate Diaz gets pummeled and then Edwards goes for another Takedown. ## A nice elbow for Edwards as Nate Diaz gets cut through, Nate Diaz is bleeding through. Nate Diaz continues the fight. Edwards holds Nate Diaz with a clinch and then performs another Takedown. Nate Diaz gets back to his feet as Edwards follows up a spinning elbow. ## 4th Round: Massive gash on the right side of Diaz’s head and on the left eyebrow. Lots of blood. A big connection there for Nate Diaz, while Edwards is all focused on landing those low leg kicks. A big left hook by Edwards as Nate Diaz staggered. ## Nate Diaz is still standing after eating that massive straight and low leg kicks, Nate Diaz closes the distance but gets a left hook from Edwards. This time Nate Diaz works on some punches followed by a clinch against the fence. ## Fifth Round: The final round opens up, Edwards gets Nate Diaz down. However, Nate Diaz gets up immediately. Nate Diaz holds up the clinch against the fence, both back to the middle, Edwards was completely dominating the fight, potentially he got all the rounds in the lead. Nate Diaz holds up the clinch, but Edwards with a nice switch. 1:40 seconds to go...Quick hands landed for Edwards, Nate Diaz is hardly moving on. Nate Diaz with a massive right hand as Edwards staggered. Looks like Edwards is down, but completes the fifth round. Once again Muhammad is balancing on his single leg as Maia continues to attempt a Takedown, both back to the middle as the round ends here. ## Second Round: The second round starts off with a massive low leg kick for Belal Muhammad. A Jab landed for Belal Muhammad, both seem to be pretty fresh, while Belal Muhammad giving him different looks. Maia lands a couple of shots. ## That left hand from Belal Muhammad gets through, Maia responds with one of his own, Maia is looking down right now, looks like Belal Muhammad will sling him with a massive right hand. Maia once again catches the right leg and holds Belal Muhammad up against the fence. A couple of nice elbows from Belal Muhammad as the round ends here. ## Third Round: The final round of the fight kicks off with a Takedown attempt from Maia, but this time Belal Muhammad blocks it, Maia is stunned with that of a massive right from Belal Muhammad. ## Belal Muhammad goes high and able to switch the Takedown, Belal Muhammad snaps a right and thus continues to score with some stunning shots. 2 minutes to go...Maia shows off nothing except those Takedown attempts, but nothing gets through as expected. A clinch at the end of the round.
