New Matches Added To 3/1 AEW Dynamite, Updated Lineup

AEW Revolution event continues to take a shape with new matches being lined up. ## During the February 24, 2023 episode of AEW Rampage, it was announced that the March 3 episode of AEW Dynamite will feature the Casino Ladder Match with the winner earning a shot at the TNT Championship, currently held by Samoa Joe. ## Konosuke Takeshita, Ortiz, Komander, Action Andretti, Sammy Guevara, Powerhouse Hibbs, Eddie Kingston, and AR Fox will vie for the chance to challenge Samoa Joe. Plush, AEW All-Atlantic Championship will be on the line as Orange Cassidy defends against Big Bill after the powerhouse and Lee Moriarty, alongside The Gunns (Colten & Austin Gunn) attacked the Best Friends (Trent Beretta & Chuck Taylor) on AEW Rampage. ## In another prominent title match, HOOK will put the FTW Championship on the line against Matt Hardy. Morelse on the show, Toni Storm will battle the returning Riho. AEW Suspends FTW Champion Hook

Laredo, February 15, 2023 - FTW Champion Hook has been suspended. ## During tonight's edition of AEW Dynamite, Tony Schiavone announced in a backstage segment that Hook has been suspended for his actions on Stokely Hathaway as he allegedly broke his hand last week. ## The announcement was made when Hathaway claimed that Hook should be fired for his actions. Momentarily after, Schiavone confirmed that Hook would be suspended pending an investigation. ## For sure, the suspension is part of the storyline as everything would be back to normal in the coming days. Huge Matches Added To AEW Revolution (2023), Updated Lineup

Three news matches have been added to AEW Revolution 2023. ## The announcement was placed during the February 15, 2023 edition of AEW Dynamite that the AEW World Tag Team Championships will be on the line in a Four Way Match. The defending champions The Gunns will defend their titles against The Acclaimed and two other teams that will be revealed in the coming weeks. ## Also set for the event is a Texas Deathmatch as the former AEW World Champion Jon Moxley takes on 'Hangman' Adam Page. Moxley challenged Page to a match after Evil Uno got in Moxley's face on the February 15 episode of Dynamite. ## Moreover, Samoa Joe and Wardlow will also battle once again in a TNT Championship match. VIDEO: New World Tag Team Champions Crowned On AEW Dynamite

El Paso, February 8, 2023 -Tonight's edition of AEW Dynamite in El Paso, Texas brought up the New AEW World Tag Team Champions. ## Tonight in the main event, The Gunns (Austin & Colten Gunn) defended the AEW Tag Team titles against The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens & Max Caster). ## During the match, Bowens tried a roll up, but was sent into the ropes where he was clocked by Colten with the title belt. Austin got the pin and the ref slowly counted three. ## The final shot of the show of The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn just standing there was awkward too. Samoa Joe Wins Back The AEW TNT Championship On AEW Dynamite

Dayton, February 1, 2023 - Samoa Joe is the new AEW TNT champion in his second reign. ## The main event of tonight’s AEW Dynamite (February 1), featured Darby Allin defending the TNT Championship against Samoa Joe. They previoulsy fought back in Seattle, Washington on the January 4, 2023 episode of Dynamite where Allin defeated Samoa Joe to win the TNT Championship for the second time. ## However after several successful title defences on weekly television show; Allin's reign came to end on February 1 episode of Dynamite against the Samoa Joe in a No Holds Barred match. ## With match being the No Holds Barred, The duo was accessed to use Tables, Chairs and more tools to approach the victory. The match ended with Samoa Joe hitting a Muscle Buster on Darby Allin onto the exposed wood of the ring. ## After the match, Samoa Joe suffered an attack from his old Foe as Wardlow came down and started brawling with Joe. AEW Made Changes on Dynamite To Help Make Room For The Mark Briscoe Vs. Jay Lethal Match

The Jay Briscoe tribute went off well, and many things were changed to accommodate it on AEW Dynamite. Prior to Tuesday, it didn't look like the tribute or Mark Briscoe's match was happening, but AEW moved many things around to make it a reality. ## Ian Riccaboni was booked for the show Tuesday, and flew in just hours before the show. Darby Allin vs. Buddy Matthews was originally scheduled to main event, and had some time trimmed in order to help make room for the Mark Briscoe vs. Jay Lethal match. ## According to Fightful Select, the Gunns/Acclaimed video was also longer, and was trimmed to make some time. It was impressive how they were able to provide Mark Briscoe and Jay Lethal as much time as they needed without compromising anything else that was advertised. ## Kenny Omega wanted to be there, but has been battling visa issues. FTR had already been scheduled to be backstage at the show. Visa Issue Almost Impacted The Elite Vs. Death Triangle Ladder Match

The Elite and Death Triangle have feuded over the past few months. They feuded over the Trios Tag Team Titles, and both teams gave their all. The final match in their best of 7 series ended last week, but it seems the match almost didn’t happen. ## On last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, The Elite faced Death Triangle in the final match of their best of 7 series. In the end, The Elite were able to put away Death Triangle to become the new champions. ## However, a report from Dave Meltzer states that the match could get through the cancellation due to visa issues, thankfully, the issues were resolved the day before the show. ## “The issue was that one of the wrestlers in the match had a visa issue and they didn’t know until Tuesday night if the Game Seven match would take place.
