Jim Cornette Blasts Chris Jericho For His Recent Comment On Death Matches
Chris Jericho is one of the most respected wrestlers in the pro wrestling business and he has worked hard to establish himself to be on the top. ## Le Champion recently spoke about his experience working in death matches. There, Jericho said that death matches are good for professional wrestling, and that barbed wire matches help people understand that wrestling isn't just fun and sports.## He explained how his nose was broken during “Barbed Wire Everywhere Match” against Eddie Kingston. Speaking on Jim Cornette’s Drive-Thru, Jim Cornette explained how death matches are different to what Jericho thinks and criticised him for his comments.## “No. Because I can understand it used to be. That’s everytime you got a black eye, you got busted open, you got some stitches, what’s a visual injury. What the old timers would say that it’s good for business be people will be able to see that right on TV. Can’t fake that.## The problem is when they have this garbage matches and it’s so obviously, visually, in front of you that this is some fake bunch of bulls** they are co-operating with each other to do s** that nobody would ever do, that doesn’t look real, you can see the cooperation and it is bogged down to human stunt show.”## Crish Jerico also confirmed that he doen't wanna doing another barbed wire death match early. He will challenge Jokes Moxley for the interim AEW World Championship at Quake by the Lake. We will have to see how the match turns out.## To stay updated with all the latest combat sports news, add Sacnilk.com to your Google News feeds and follow us on Twitter.
