WWE WrestleMania 40 Prediction: Top 6 Matches

WWE's road to WrestleMania 40 began with the Royal Rumble, featuring two namesake match victories guaranteeing title shots in Philadelphia on April 6 and 7. ## Champions held their ground, feuds heated up, and Superstars showcased their talents, vying for a spot on the grandest stage. ## Here's an early look at predicted match cards, highlighting the championship clashes set to headline the two nights. ## Undisputed Universal Title Match: Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes ## Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed Universal Title match, is one of the most talked about headlines in WrestleMania 40. After winning the 2024 Royal Rumble match, Rhodes declared his intention to go after Roman Reigns. So, this seems to be a done deal. ## IYO SKY vs. Bayley for the Women’s Title ## This match is anticipated for the Women's Title, with SKY challenging Bayley for the championship in your opinion. Both women currently stand together as a team, but the storyline could change anytime soon as the event draws closer. ## An imminent, unavoidable twist awaits Bayley courtesy of Damage CTRL, leading to her inevitable transition into a babyface. This betrayal is poised to pave the way for the Royal Rumble victor to step up and challenge Sky for the prestigious WWE Women's Championship on the grand stage. This could potentially serve as the career-defining moment that Bayley, renowned as a tireless performer in the ring and one of the company's top talents, has long been deserving of. ## WWE World Heavyweight Title Match: Seth Rollins(c) vs. Randy Orton ## The entire landscape of the World Heavyweight Title went through a messy change after Punk declared that he had gotten injured and wouldn't be able to make it to WrestleMania, thus preventing him from challenging Seth Rollins for the title. ## Now, the mystery remains: who will step in to challenge Rollins on the grandiose stage of them all? For sure, WWE aims to build a strong opponent for such a big event. Currently, WWE has a robust roster, but I see one person who has the potential to captivate the fans – none other than Randy Orton. ## If not CM Punk, then Randy Orton could be the one to challenge Rollins for the title. ## United States Championship Match: LA Knight vs. Logan Paul ## Logan Paul narrowly retained the United States Championship against Kevin Owens in Tampa, hinting at an ongoing feud. Expect this rivalry to conclude around Elimination Chamber, leading Paul to transition into a WrestleMania program against LA Knight. ## The history between Paul and Knight, dating back to last summer, sets the stage for a high-profile match, offering Knight a shot at his first WWE title, fittingly rewarding his rise from obscurity to a beloved babyface. ## Women's World Championship Match: Becky Lynch vs. Rhea Ripley ## Becky Lynch's loss at the Women's Royal Rumble won't deter her from facing Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 40. The defeat adds credibility to Lynch's concerns about being inferior to The Eradicator, setting the stage for an intriguing storyline. ## Ripley's dominance as champion makes her a formidable opponent, and a showdown between these two industry stalwarts promises to be a star-studded affair, potentially headlining this year's WrestleMania. ## Intercontinental Championship Match: Jey Uso vs. Gunther ## Gunther eliminating Jey Uso in the Royal Rumble hints at a championship showdown, building on their previous encounters. This storyline, orchestrated by Triple H, suggests a unique opportunity for Main Event Jey to pursue individual gold against the reigning Intercontinental Champion, Gunther.## Despite the expectation for a clash with his brother Jimmy, Triple H's creative direction favors establishing Jey as his own man, presenting an intriguing path for his career. ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk...

Predicting Top 3 Opponents For Roman Reigns At WWE WrestleMania 40

Although WWE WrestleMania 40 is several months in the future, it appears that the company has already commenced its preparations for the highly anticipated event. ## The forthcoming edition of WWE WrestleMania, WrestleMania 40, is set to be a two-night spectacle. The event is slated to occur on April 6th and 7th, 2024, at the iconic Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This will be the second time that WrestleMania graces the city of Philadelphia and the state of Pennsylvania, following WrestleMania XV in 1999. Moreover, it will be the first WrestleMania since WrestleMania XXX in 2014 to incorporate Roman numerals in its title, adding a touch of tradition and grandeur. ## The WrestleMania main event is traditionally considered the most influential and prestigious match on the card. It is often the fulfillment of major storylines and rivalries that have been built up over several months or even years. As the grandest stage of them all in professional wrestling, WrestleMania is WWE's flagship event, and the main event is the pinnacle of the entire show. ## With WWE WrestleMania 40 several months away, WWE ha already started questing its Main event match which is likely to be headlined by Roman Reigns and an opponent to be predicted below: ## 1. Roman Reigns Vs. Cody Rhodes Speculation regarding Reigns' trajectory leading up to WrestleMania 40 is abundant. Notably, the Tribal Chief has entered the past three WrestleMania events as the Universal Champion, a feat he likely hoped to repeat. However, following his recent loss, the championship landscape appears uncertain. But fret not, WWE Universe, plans are already in motion for Reigns' future, and it promises to be an epic clash of giants. According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, the current plan for WrestleMania 40 involves a showdown between Reigns and "The American Nightmare," Cody Rhodes. ## Rhodes himself dropped hints about this confrontation during the post-Money in the Bank press conference. The wrestling world is well aware of Rhodes' mission to capture the title that eluded his legendary father, Dusty Rhodes. With Roman Reigns holding the championship, the stage is set for a monumental clash at WrestleMania 40. While the World Heavyweight Championship holds prestige, Rhodes' ultimate goal appears to be the Universal Championship, a goal that adds an enticing narrative to the upcoming year. ## Since their headline match at WrestleMania 39, both Reigns and Rhodes have embarked on separate paths. Reigns has been part of the WWE's chart-topping Bloodline storyline, a family saga riddled with conflict that culminated in his recent defeat. Rhodes, on the other hand, has continued to shine as one of WWE's top stars, securing a victory over Dominik Mysterio at Money in the Bank 2023. ## 2. Roman Reigns Vs. Cody Rhodes Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins have had a long and storied rivalry, dating back to their days in The Shield. They've faced each other multiple times at WrestleMania, with Reigns winning the first two matches and Rollins winning the most recent one. ## If they were to face each other again at WrestleMania 40, it would be an incredibly close match. Both men are incredibly talented and have been at the top of their game for years. Reigns is the current Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, while Rollins is one of the most popular wrestlers in the world. ## It's should be noted that Reigns is on an incredible run right now, and he's one of the most dominant champions in WWE history. He's also been getting a lot of positive reactions from fans, which could give him an edge in the match. ## 3. Roman Reigns Vs. Randy Orton Roman Reigns and Randy Orton stand as notable figures in the annals of WWE, boasting a desirable array of accolades. Witnessing their clash at WrestleMania 40 would undoubtedly materialize as a reverie match for legions of fervent fans. ## After a prolonged absence of more than a year, Randy Orton has remained on the sidelines owing to persistent back issues, casting doubt on his future within the realm of professional wrestling. In a recent interview, his father, Bob Orton, expressed his belief that medical practitioners would rather see his son refrain from returning to the squared circle. ## If I had to pick a winner, I would say that Reigns would be the slight favorite. He is the current champion, and he is on a hot streak. However, Orton is a dangerous opponent, and he would not be an easy win for Reigns. Either way, a match between Roman Reigns and Randy Orton at WrestleMania 40 would be a great spectacle, and it would be a match that fans would be talking about for years to come. ## To stay updated with all the latest combat sports news, add Sacnilk.com to your Google News feeds and follow us on Twitter.

The Usos then delivered a devastating double chokeslam on Owens through the announce table, leaving Zayn alone in the ring.## The Usos then delivered another 1D on Zayn, and it seemed as though it might be the end, but Zayn miraculously kicked out. Commentator Cole was stunned as no one had ever kicked out of the 1D before, and the crowd was buzzing with excitement. ## Jey relentlessly attacked Zayn, who seemed to be in trouble and unable to counter.
