WWE Had Plan For Stone Cold Steve Austin Vs. Roman Reigns

There are rumors that The Rock might not be coming back, and WWE has had some plans in the event that doesn't happen, and some HUGE pitches. ## According to Fightful Select, a pitch was made internally for a "huge opponent" for Stone Cold Steve Austin, which was told was Roman Reigns. At the very least, Austin's camp was approached with the possibility of it happening, which was said to have been for "enormous" money. ## In the Summer of 2022, Fightful reported that Austin was approached with a deal that wasn't as appealing from a financial standpoint. Some in WWE claimed they hadn't heard back on whether the more recent offer was accepted or not, and another source indicated that another "big name" was offered in the months prior. ## As of early December, WrestleMania title matches (as reported by WrestlingNews.co) were slated as Drew McIntyre/Cody Rhodes vs. Seth Rollins one night and TBD/Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns another night. ## Austin finally agreed to make an in-ring return at least year's WrestleMania, where he main evented against Kevin Owens. WWE Elimination Chamber 2023 Results: Winners, Matches, Venue, Attendance

Elimination Chamber will be WWE's next big event following the 2023 Royal Rumble event. The 2023 Elimination Chamber will be the 13th Elimination Chamber event and will air live on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. ## Additionally, it will be the first Elimination Chamber event to be held in Canada, and the second to take place outside of the United States, after the 2022 event. This also marks the first major WWE event to be held in Montreal since Breaking Point in September 2009. ## The Elimination Chamber match is the main event of the night and features six wrestlers, with two starting the match and four being locked in pods that are suspended above the ring. At set intervals, one of the pod wrestlers is released into the match, until all six wrestlers are participating. The match is won by the last wrestler remaining in the ring. The Elimination Chamber match can be contested for a championship or a future championship opportunity. ## The event is all set to kick off some of the never-seen-before matches in WWE history. First, Sami Zayn will challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Currently, Sami Zayn is receiving some of the biggest pops in WWE and Roman Reigns himself is an event maker. So, with a combined review, I am predicting this one to be the top match of the night. ## Plush, Austin Theory will defend his WWE United States Title against Seth Rollins, Johnny Gargano, Bronson Reed, Damian Priest, and Montez Ford in An Elimination Chamber match for the WWE United States Championship.
