Floyd Mayweather Announces Next Exhibition Boxing Match Against Mikuru Asakura

Floyd Mayweather has booked his next exhibition boxing match against MMA fighter Mikuru Asakura in RIZIN. ## The announcement was made during a press conference on Monday, which was airing the event on the new RIZIN Fight Pass service, the exact date of which is yet to be determined. ## “I was just being inducted into the Hall of Fame, which is truly amazing,” Mayweather said during the press conference. “My body of work as far as when I’m talking about my career, I’m truly, truly blessed way beyond belief. ## “It’s still a great feeling now to be able to travel the world and basically do these exhibition bouts and have fun and my legacy is already engraved in stone but it’s still great to go around the world and entertain people from all walks of life. I’m pretty sure he’s going to come out and give his best like any and every guy but I’ve done seen every style. Tonight on Raw, Seth Rollins competed against AJ Styles in the MITB qualifying match. ## Money in the Bank Qualifying Match: AJ Styles Vs Seth Rollins ## AJ punches Rollins and AJ falls with a back slide. AJ to a near fall with an O'Connor roll. Rollins with a punch and kick. Rollins with more punches. Rollins with a chop and AJ with a drop kick. Seth goes to the floor and AJ follows. Rollins with a kick and he sends AJ to the apron. AJ Irish hits Rollins at the ringside barrier. AJ with a slingshot forearm on the floor. AJ with a back breaker for a near fall. AJ hits a punch and the referee warns AJ. ## Rollins goes to the floor and AJ chases. Rollins comes back into the ring and hits a double thrust and then drops AJ over the top rope and kicks AJ off the apron with a forearm. Rollins goes on top of the table with a suicide dive as AJ Styles goes into the announced desk. ## Back from the commercial break, AJ with Forearms, Rolins some of his own, Styles blocks a spinning elbow, and plants Rollins to mate with a clothesline. Styles with massive Facebuster for the cover, but kicks out at two and a half. ## Rollins is able to advance a little as he hits a Superkick for a near fall. Styles is still down, while Rollins is pumped up. Rollins goes for the Stomp, but a great counter from Styles into an Ankle lock. However, Rollins separates by touching the bottom ropes. Rollins a Superkick, while Styles with Pele kick, down goes Rollins. ## Rollins is still battling out, Both fighters with an exchange of forearms and kicks. Styles with a great Suplex into the cornor for the cover, but kicks out at two and a half. ## Styles goes for Phenomenal Forearm, Rollins sides up and attacks to the knee, and Styles goes down. Rollins gets a near fall. Still unstoppable...Styles goes up to the top, and Rollins chases on the top, apparently trying to get down with a Superplex, but Styles is able to duck down. While Rollins still performs a Buckle Bomb and immediately goes over the top for Frog Splash, Styles is out of the way just in time. ## AJ goes for the Styles Clash but Rollins blocks it. Next week on Monday Night Raw, Becky Lynch will settle the score when she takes on Asuka in the Money In The Bank Qualifying match. ## For the second time in weeks, Becky Lynch quested for the 24/7 Championship against Dana Brooke. However, The match didn’t happen. Both women made their regular entrances but Lynch attacked Brooke before the bell could ring. That led to “Becky” chants. Lynch drove Brooke into the barricade before stomping her head into the announce table. ## Lynch said this never about Brooke’s little 24/7 championship and told her, “you can keep that.” ## Lynch was pissed about how she’s been treated. Lynch also recalled that the last time she was in a MITB match she was cheated and robbed. She said things would be different this year. ## She was about to attack Brooke again but Asuka made the save. New Stipulation Added To Roman Reigns Vs. Riddle On WWE SmackDown

A new stipulation has been added to Friday’s WWE Universal Championship match between Roman Reigns and Riddle. ## Tonight’s episode of Raw opened with Paul Heyman who was a special guest on Miz TV. During the segment, Riddle interrupted before he could continue. ## Heyman laid out the stipulation: if Riddle doesn’t beat Reigns on Friday, he won’t receive another title shot as long as Reigns is the champion. ## Riddle won the championship match last week on SmackDown by defeating Sami Zayn. The stipulation for that match was that if Riddle won, he would receive a championship match against Reigns, but if he lost, he would be barred from SmackDown. ## Reigns has not defended the WWE Universal Championship on television since defeating Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38 to unify the WWE and Universal Titles. Former Ring of Honor star Eric Stevens, who retired from wrestling in 2020, wrote the following about the Thunder Rosa vs Marina Shafir match from the June 8, 2022 edition of AEW Dynamite. ## “It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a match where somebody so obviously tried to make themselves look better than their opponent by sandbagging and no selling, but I just saw a perfect example of it on Dynamite. ## It might just look like a bad match to the untrained eye but it’s pretty clear when somebody doesn’t want to play ball. Which sucks because it just makes you and your opponent look bad.” ## Former AEW Women’s Champion Britt Baker as well as Marina liked the tweet from the person that was accusing Rosa of sandbagging during the match. ## This isn't the first time Rosa has been accused of this since Ivelis discussed her issues with Rosa in an interview with Chris Van Vliet last September. She recalled that Lucha Underground had the same issues, but when they worked on Indies together, it didn't happen again, so she thought Rosa had learned her lesson. However, when they worked on Dynamite in a September 2020 match, their match was broken. ## This is not how it works in professional wrestling.
