Report: WWE MITB Plans For Roman Reigns And Brock Lesnar 'Up In The Air'

Plans for Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar going into the Money In The Bank are said to be ‘up in the air’. ## As noted, WWE recently made the announcement, stating that WWE Money In The Bank 2022 now has a new venue. The event was originally scheduled to take place on July 2, 2022, at Allegiant Stadium in the Las Vegas suburb of Paradise, Nevada, but WWE sent out an email to the ticket holders that Money in the Bank will now take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. ## In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reports that he got confirmation about Roman Reigns’ summer plans being Matt Riddle for Money In The Bank in Las Vegas, Randy Orton at SummerSlam in Nashville and Drew McIntyre in Cardiff, Wales on 9/3. ## However, the plans may have changed with Roman Reigns no longer featured in the updated ads for Money In The Banks and neither is Brock Lesnar, among others. ## Meltzer said that everything about Reigns and Lesnar for Money in the Bank is up in the air right now. Riddle vs Reigns may still happen but there's no word on what's next for Lesnar, who was originally booked for the show as it was supposed to be a stadium show. Yet another report has dropped regarding WWE Women’s Tag Team Tournament! ## As we have seen it, The championship is currently vacant. Previous champions Sasha Banks and Naomi were suspended and stripped of the titles on the May 20, 2022 episode of SmackDown. This came after the team legitimately walked out of a scheduled appearance on the May 16 edition of Raw. A tournament will be held to crown new champions. ## Per Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there will be a tournament for sure, but there have been different pitches made. Per the report, at least two involved a four-team tournament. ## In one, the four names are Natalya & Shayna Baszler, Tamina & Dana Brooke, Nikki ASH & Doudrop, and Carmella & Zelina (even though they already broke up). ## Adding Vega is kind of a surprising thing, PWInsider recently confirmed that Vega has been out of the ring following an in-ring injury that required surgery. WWE Money In The Bank 2022 gets another massive change! ## As noted earlier, The event was originally scheduled to take place on July 2, 2022, at Allegiant Stadium in the Las Vegas suburb of Paradise, Nevada, but WWE sent out an email to the ticket holders that Money in the Bank will now take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. ## When WWE sent word out about Money In The Bank heading to Allegiant Stadium, the home of the Las Vegas Raiders, several major names were advertised. SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey, Brock Lesnar, Charlotte Flair, Bobby Lashley, and WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns were all advertised to appear but that is no longer the case. ## The original poster had Reigns, Lesnar, Ronda Rousey, Bobby Lashley, Charlotte Flair, Drew McIntyre, Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, Sasha Banks, and Kofi Kingston on the front. ## The revised graphic shows Riddle, Bianca, Cody Rhodes, The Miz, Rhea Ripley, The Street Profits. AEW Double Or Nothing 2022 show is just getting stacked with more matches on its card. ## The event is set to air on May 29, 2022, at the T-Mobile Arena on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada and it's seemingly stacked with 11 matches. ## But...AEW might not be done adding matches to Double or Nothing. ## AEW recently announced that Sting will not be traveling to Double or Nothing weekend after sustaining an injury, but is tag team partner Darby Allin will be out for good reason. Per Sources from Fightful, a match was discussed for the Double or Nothing that would see Allin take on Kyle O'Reilly. ## Also Read: Paige Reacts To Edge And Kevin Owens Snubbing Her. ## O'Reilly was responsible for "Pillmanizing" Sting's leg inside a chair on last week's episode of AEW Dynamite.
