Report: Cody Rhodes Vs Seth Rollins Is Still The WrestleMania Match

Cody Rhodes vs. Seth Rollins is still being discussed for WWE WrestleMania 38. ## While Rhodes did not appear on last night's Raw, the story of Rollins not having "the way to WrestleMania" was featured prominently. According to comments made by Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Rhodes is expected to return to WWE soon and will likely give Rollins such a path. ## Rhodes is wrestling Seth at WrestleMania unless something changes. ## There were several subtle references to Rhodes made on Monday Raw. As the show was closing, Corey Graves said that Rollins' hopes of WrestleMania had been "dashed" and that his dream had become a "nightmare". WWE Raw (3/14) Results: Seth Rollins Vs. Kevin Owens Full Match & Winner

On the March 14the edition of Monday Night Raw, Rollins had an in-ring segment and then he invited Owens to join him in the ring. ## During the talk, Rollins suggested having two different talk shows at WrestleMania. Whereas Owens Quickly denied. However, Rollins agreed it was silly to have two different talk shows so he suggested they have a match tonight and the winner would get Austin on their show. ## Meanwhile, Sonya Deville entered and she liked the idea and booked them in a match for the main event. If Rollins wins, he does indeed replace Owens. Owens was pissed. ## Check Out The Full Match Recap Below ## Kevin Owens comes out first and he is followed by Rollins. The match starts off with a quick rollup for a near fall from Rollins. Owens with a kick and he goes for a stunner but Rollins pushes him away.## Rollins hits a kick and gets Owens into the coroner. Rollins is chopping him down. Rollins with a forearm and Owens with a kick. Rollins with a clothesline and kick to the back followed by a knee drop for a near fall.## Owens with a forearm to the back of the leg to trip him on the apron. Owens sends Rollins' knee into the ringside barrier. Owens with a kick to the knee.## Rollins slams Owens' head into the mat. Owens lands forearms followed by a couple of slams the leg into the edge of the apron. Owens goes for a powerbomb on the apron but Rollins blocks it and sends Owens onto the apron with a back body drop.## Rollisn with a suicide dive but Owens catches Rollins and hits a fallaway slam into the ringside barrier and hits a back senton. ## Back from the break, Owens is all focused on Rollins' leg, Owens with Tornado DDT off the top rope, Owens follows up a second and goes for the cover, but Rollins kicks out at two and half.## Owens with a Cloteline into the corner and follows up a massive Cananball for near fall. Both are trading shots, Owens goes for a Pop-up-Powerbomb, but Rollins jumps off and picks up the momentum. ## Rollins with a Sling Blade and changes with a Forearm into the corner, Rollins from the top ropes and lands with a Knee. Owens is sent outside. While Rollins fires with a Suicide Dive as Rollins drives off the announce Table. ## However, Owens makes it back to the ring, Rollins with a Superkick and goes up to the top to get out with Splash for the cover, but kicks out. ## Both Owens and Rollins on the top of the ring post, Owens advances with a huge Superplex for near fall. Owens goes for a Moonsault from the top, but this time Rollins has his knee up, and that hurts him bad. ## Owens with a kick and he goes for a stunner but Rollins sends Owens into the turnbuckles but the referee had to get out of the way of Owens so he misses the count and can only give Rollins a near fall. Because if it wasn't that title reign wouldn't be nearly as long as it has been. I'm really proud of Roman for the work that he's put in. After Hall underwent hip surgery, a blood clot was dislodged, resulting in Hall suffering three heart attacks on March 12, after which he was put on life support in Wellstar Kennstone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia. According to Nash, Hall will be removed from life support when Hall's "family is in place". ## Scott Hall is known for his work with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE) as Razor Ramon and with World Championship Wrestling (WCW) under his real name. ## Hall is immensely regarded as one of the best pro-wrestlers in the world and that batter explains his championship reigns and accomplishments in his pro-wrestling career. ## He had multiple good to great matches - Hall and The 1-2-3 Kid vs. Shawn Michaels and Nash as Diesel for an early edition of WWF Action Zone, a bout that literally had the entire Westchester County Center jumping up and down in waves of insane reactions that venue has never seen since, his King of the Ring 1993 match against Bret Hart. ## His WCW PPV bouts against Sting, Bill Goldberg and many others.
