Marvel Confirms 'Black Panther 3 Is Officially In Development

Los Angeles, December 19 - Marvel Studios has officially put the third instalment of Black Panther in development with producer Nate Moore returning. Marvel boss Kevin Feige has confirmed the development in an interview with Deadline. ## "Nate has been a core member of our team since 2010, and his influence will continue to reverberate in our storytelling. Although we'll miss him a great deal, we look forward to watching what he does next while also having the good fortune of working with him in a new way on our next Black Panther movie", Feige said. ## The production timeline of Black Panther 3 is not yet known. Ryan Coogler is expected to return to direct the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) blockbuster while Denzel Washington confirmed that he would be playing the antagonist role in the film. ## The third film will follow on from 2022's Black Panther: Wakanda Forever – which itself is a sequel to Black Panther from 2018. It tells the story of the superhero of the same name aka King T'Challa of Wakanda, with the role played by late star Chadwick Boseman.## After Boseman's death in August 2020, plans for a sequel changed and T'Challa's sister Shuri, portrayed by Letitia Wright, ushered in a new era for Wakanda as a second iteration of Black Panther.## Stay tuned...

Mumbai, September 26 - Tom Hardy is the set for the Last Dance with his blockbuster anti-hero franchise Venom. The third and final film, titled Venom: The Last Dance is gearing up for the big screen debut on October 25 this year. ## As the movie is gearing up for release, the official runtime for the same has reportedly been revealed. According to the latest reports, the movie is set to be a nearly 2 hours long flick with a final runtime of around 1 hour and 50 minutes (110 minutes). ## Recently, two different theatre chains listed conflicting runtimes for Sony Pictures' upcoming blockbuster. As per The Direct, Odeon listed the threequel on its website with a 140-minute runtime (2 hours, 20 minutes) while Cineworld listed it with a runtime of 120 minutes (2 hours). ## However, it is believed that the final runtime of Venom 3 will be changed as the latest reports suggest. James Cameron Sets His Next Directorial Other Than 'Avatar' Franchise

Mumbai, September 17 - James Cameron has been busy with the epic sci-fi Avatar franchise since 1997 and is currently directing the third instalment of this blockbuster franchise which is scheduled to hit the big screen on December 20, 2025. ## While there are, at least, two more Avatar films after Avatar 3, Cameron has set his next directorial project other than Avatar. According to Variety, the maverick filmmaker has purchased the rights to Charles Pellegrino's book "Ghosts of Hiroshima", which will be published by Blackstone Publishing in August 2025.## Cameron will combine and adapt Ghosts and Pellegrino's 2015 book Last Train From Hiroshima into a single film, which he will shoot when Avatar production allows. ## The filmmaker's new film will be titled, Last Train from Hiroshima which will tell the true story of a Japanese man during World War II who survived two atomic bombings: after living through the explosion in Hiroshima, he took a train to Nagasaki, enduring another blast there. ## It will be Cameron's first non-Avatar movie in more than 2 and a half decades as a director since he directed Titanic in 1997. Before Titanic, which is the 4th highest-grossing film of all time, Cameron directed six movies after making his directorial debut in 1982 with Piranha II: The Spawning. ## Cameron has been a box office monster as his last three directed films went on to gross over $2 billion each globally and are currently among the 4 highest-grossing movies of all time with Avatar being the biggest grosser ($2.92 billion). Scarlett Johansson-Led New 'Jurassic World' Movie Gets An Official Title

Mumbai, August 29 - Universal Pictures has officially revealed the title and the first of the new Jurassic World film, led by Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey, and Mahershala Ali. It is the seventh film in the 31-year-old science fiction action franchise. ## On Thursday (August 29), Universal Pictures announced on social media the new Jurrasic World movie has been titled Jurassic World Rebirth and it will debut in theatres on 2 July 2025. Gareth Edwards ("Rogue One: A Star Wars Story") is directing the film. ## The official synopsis of the movie states, "The film will be set five years following the events of Jurassic World Dominion (2022) when "the planet's ecology has proven largely inhospitable to dinosaurs. Those remaining exist in isolated equatorial environments with climates resembling the one in which they once thrived".## It continues, "The three most colossal creatures within that tropical biosphere hold the key to a drug that will bring miraculous life-saving benefits to humankind".## Apart from the official title, the studio also revealed the first look at Scarlett Johansson whose character is a covert ops expert named Zora Bennett, who has been hired to lead the team extracting DNA from the three most gargantuan dinosaur species left alive. The movie stars Pedro Pascal (Mr. Fantastic), Vanessa Kirby (Invisible Woman), Joseph Quinn (Human Torch) and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Thing). ## WandaVision director, Matt Shakman has been tasked to direct the latest take on the classic Marvel team that originated in the comics in 1961. Oscar winner Michael Giacchino was confirmed as the composer of the film that is scheduled to be released on July 25, 2025, as the first movie in the MCU's Phase 6.## The original Fantastic Four movie, starring Chris Evans, Jessica Alba, Ioan Gruffudd and Michael Chiklis, was released in 2005, followed by its sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer in 2007 with the same cast. Mumbai, July 27 - After the huge opening day of approximately 21 crores net (approx. 27 crores gross), Marvel Studios' superhero comedy Deadpool and Wolverine has witnessed a jump of around 10% on its second day at the Indian box office which is good for an A-rated Hollywood title. ## According to the early estimates, the Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman-starrer blockbuster scored in the range of 22.50-23.50 crores net (28-30 crores gross) on its second day, pushing the 2-days total to around 44 crores net and 55+ crores gross in all versions.## The jump in the collection indicates the positive word of mouth among the moviegoers. These types of films tend to stay flat after the big opening. The Marvel tag, however, is a big plus as it is a popular movie brand in India and with positive reception, Marvel movies have done well in the past and Deadpool 3 should be the next on this list. ## The Shawn Lavy's directorial is heading for around 67-70 crores net (85+ crores gross) on the opening weekend which is an excellent result for the movie.## On the other hand, the Tamil movie Raayan has a super solid hold on its second day after delivering the career-best opening for actor Dhanush with approximately 15.75 crores gross in India. On its second day, the action thriller scored an estimated 15.50-16.50 crores gross (13.50-14.50 crores net) in all versions.## South Indian movies tend to see a drop on their second day after the big opening but this was not the case with Raayan which is riding high on the positive word of mouth. Mumbai, July 26 - Marvel Studios' highly-anticipated superhero comedy Deadpool & Wolverine has taken a very good start at the Indian box office, coming ahead of the projections. It was easily the number-one movie of the day and finally gave a solid start for a Hollywood title this year.## The Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman-fronted threequel scored superb pre-sales in India, indicating a huge start at the box office and that's what happened as according to the early estimates, Deadpool 3 scored 21-23 crores net (26+ crores gross) on opening day in India for all languages. ## It scored easily the biggest opening for a Hollywood movie of 2024 in India, beating Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire which scored 13.25 crores net first day for 39 crores net weekend. Depending on where the actual first-day collection lends, Deadpool 3 will be aiming for 70+ crores first weekend total which is excellent for an 'A' rated title.## Tamil star Dhanush's action thriller Raayan, another A-rated title, has taken the career-best opening for the actor. The movie was released in the original Tamil along with the dubbed versions of Telugu and Hindi, and according to early estimates, it has scored in the range of 12-13 crores net (14+ crores gross) in all versions.## The Tamil version remains the major contributor for an estimated 11+ crores net (13 crores gross) while the Telugu and Hindi versions mint in the range of 1.50 crores net (estimates).
