Actor Saif Ali Khan Attacked At His Residence
Mumbai, January 16 - Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was shockingly attacked by an intruder at his Mumbai home in the early hours of January 16. The actor was stabbed six times and was hospitalised at Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital, according to NDTV. ## Dr Niraj Uttamani, COO of Lilavati Hospital, said that Saif underwent a neurosurgery. The plastic surgery is still going on. Two of the six stab wounds are deep, and near the spine, said the statement from Lilawati Hospital. The actor is said to be out of danger, per NDTV report.## It is said that an intruder sneaked into Saif Ali Khan's house while he was sleeping. A scuffle between the actor and the intruder broke out and in this, Saif Ali Khan was reportedly attacked with a knife six times by the intruder who fled the crime scene. ## Saif Ali Khan's team has issued an official statement which reads, "There was an attempted burglary at Mr Saif Ali Khan's residence. He is currently in hospital undergoing surgery. We request the media and fans to be patient. It's a police matter.
