Prasanth Varma Announces Female-Led Superhero Movie 'Mahakali' In PVCU
Hyderabad, October 10 - Director Prasanth Varma soared to the limelight after his directorial Hanuman emerged as a massive box-office blockbuster with around 300 crores gross collection. Starring Teja Sajja, Hanuman was the first movie in Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe, a superhero franchise. After Hanuman, Varma recently announced the second movie in PVCU with Nandamuri Balakrishna's son, Mokshagna Teja. Wasting no time, the promising filmmaker has now announced the first female-led superhero movie in PVCU with an astonishing poster. The movie titled Mahakali is about Goddess Kali, an invincible warrior, the protector of the righteous, and the ultimate destroyer of evil. The film will be directed by a lady director, Puja Aparna Kolluru. It will be produced by Riwaz Ramesh Duggal under the banner of RKD Studios. Mahakali is written by Prasanth Varma, and this will be the third movie in Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe. The movie was announced with a poster, showing a cosy moment between the girl and the tiger. The cast and other details are not revealed yet. Termed as the most ferocious superhero in the universe, Mahakali will be released in multiple Indian and foreign languages in 3D IMAX format.
