Akhanda 2: Blockbuster 'Akhanda' Sequel Officially Announced

Hyderabad, October 16 - After the hat-trick of successes, Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Boyapati Srinu reunite for the fourth time for the sequel to the blockbuster Akhanda. The movie will be produced by 14 Reels Plus studio. ## The movie, titled Akhanda 2 - Thaandavam, was officially announced on Wednesday (October 16) with the teaser poster, giving the divine impression. The music for the movie will be composed by Thaman S who got high praise for his BGM in Akhanda. ## The shoot of Akhanda 2 will commence soon and will have a Pan India release in multiple languages, including Hindi. New Delhi, October 15 - Filmmaker Sandeep Singh has collaborated with the national broadcaster Doordarshan to announce Fauji 2, the new version of Shah Rukh Khan-led iconic television series.## Directed by Abhinav Pareek, Fauji 2 will star Vicky Jain and Gauahar Khan in the leading roles and will introduce twelve new actors - Aashish Bhardwaj, Utkarsh Kohli, Rudra Soni, Amardeep Phogat, Ayaan Manchanda, Niel Satpuda, Suvansh Dhar, Priyanshu Rajguru, Aman Singh Deep, Udit Kapur, Maansi and Sushmita Bhandari.## The show will feature 11 songs with music composed by music director Shreyas Puranik. Sonu Nigam has lent his voice to the title track of Fauji 2, produced by Sandeep Singh and co-produced by Vicky Jain and Zafar Mehdi with Sameer Hallim as the Creative Head. ## The original show, Fauji was first aired in 1989 and was created by the legendary writer and producer, Lt. Mumbai, October 14 - Over the last couple of months, the trade is buzzing with the potential maiden collaboration between Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan and Tamil director Lokesh Kanagaraj. While Aamir has confirmed to play a cameo in Lokesh's Coolie starring Rajinikanth, the duo has also been in the news for a full-fledged film. ## It was recently reported that Aamir and Lokesh have been in talks for quite some time now and that things were progressing in the right direction. Now, according to the report by Pinkvilla, the project in question is a superhero film and Aamir has asked the director to develop this idea into a full-fledged script. ## The report says that Lokesh is now looking to develop the same with his team of writers, before pitching the first draft to the Dangal star. Chennai, October 14 - In probably first of its kind experiment, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is to be used to dub Tamil star Suriya's voice in all languages in the upcoming much-anticipated Pan India movie Kanguva, directed by Siva. ## Producer Gnanavel Raja has said (via Only Kollywood) that there will be a fresh new style for Kanguva in terms of its worldwide dubbing, as the makers are opting for an AI process, which will make the lead character's vocals very similar to that of Suriya, through the technology.## It is said that different people will dub for Suriya in each language but it will later be altered to the actor's voice to give it an original feel.## Kanguva is the biggest movie for Suriya in terms of budget and scale. It has been one of the keenly-awaited Pan India movies that also stars Bobby Deol and Disha Patani in their Tamil debut. Mumbai, October 14 - Dharma Productions' love story drama Dhadak 2, starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri has reportedly been postponed to the next year. Directed by Shazia Iqbal, the movie is a spiritual sequel to Dhadak (2018), starring Ishaan Khatter, and Janhvi Kapoor. ## Dhadak 2, which is said to be a remake of the Tamil film Pariyerum Perumal (2018), was announced on November 22, 2024, release. According to Bollywood Hungama, it has now been postponed and the producers are looking at releasing the film on February 21, 2025.## Subject to the official announcement, Dhadak 2 will clash with Ajay Devgn's Raid 2 which is already confirmed for February 21, 2025, release.
