Mumbai, December 17 - Director Anees Bazmee's "Welcome" (2007), fronted by Akshay Kumar remains one of the most loved comedy films of all time. Its sequel, "Welcome Back", was released in 2015 and also worked in cinemas though it couldn't recreate the magic of its predecessor.## Over the past few years, the talks regarding "Welcome 3" has been on the rise, and producer Nadiadwala himself confirmed the development now, in a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, the filmmaker revealed that it will be made on a huge scale. ## Firoz Nadiadwala revealed that the title of the movie would most likely be "Welcome To The Jungle". He said that the movie will be based on a military action backdrop and will retain the humor, wit, and entertainment that is associated with this franchise. ## "We'll make use of the 'huey' helicopters and for the first time in an Indian film, aircraft carriers will be used in action scenes. It’ll be made on a scale that has never been seen before in Indian cinema in terms of production value, grandeur, etc", said the filmmaker.## It is not yet confirmed whether Akshay Kumar or other casts will reprise their roles in "Welcome 3" but Nadiadwala confirmed that top stars will feature in the movie. Mumbai, December 9 - Director Nitesh Tiwari's live-action epic Ramayana, which was announced many moons back, has been the talk of the town over the last few years. The planned trilogy has been in the pre-production work for a long time and makers are taking enough time in the research work, thus the filming is getting delayed. ## The pre-production work of "Ramayana" has moved rapidly over the last few months and the makers are making sure it goes on floors sooner than later. Madhu Mantena, who has produced films like Udta Punjab, Ghajini, and Super 30, is one of the producers of this magnum opus along with Allu Arvind and Namit Malhotra. ## During a recent interview with Pinkvilla (via TOI), Madhu Mantena revealed that the script of the film will be completed in the next couple of months after detailed research and groundwork on the screenplay and story over the past few years, and if all goes as per plan, the filming will start from September 2023. ## "After intense research and groundwork for the last few years on the screenplay and story, the script will be ready in a couple of months. The story needs that amount of research and effort. We are aiming to start shooting from September 2023", Mantena said. ## The star cast of the movie is yet to be made official but multiple reports in the past have stated that Ranbir Kapoor will play Ram while Hrithik Roshan has been attached to play Raavan and Sai Pallavi will be essaying the role of Sita. He has done rom-com and biopics in his more than a decade-old career and had excelled in the roles with perfection. However, despite being a talent powerhouse, Ranbir's success graph isn't high as compared to his contemporaries. ## During an interview with Variety at the Red Sea Film Festival, Ranbir opened up about some of his films that underperformed at the box office, including the one which really hurts him the most as he thinks it was his passion project. ## The musical adventure fantasy comedy "Jagga Jasoos", directed by Anurag Basu, was released in 2017 and won several awards nominations for the novel concept. However, the movie did underperform at the box office and was declared a box office flop against the high budget. Ranbir said that it was his passion project and it really hurts him to see it didn't do well at the box office. ## "It was really a very heartwarming sweet idea about a stammering detective, a singing detective, but it didn't do well. I think that's the only thing in my career that really hurt me", the "Shamshera" actor said. ## Ranbir was last seen in the recently released "Brahmastra Part One: Shiva", which grossed over 430 crores worldwide and is also doing well on digital platforms. Going forward, he will be seen in Luv Ranjan's rom-com, co-starring Shraddha Kapoor, and this could be his last rom-com as he aims to do larger-than-life films in the future.
