Hrithik Roshan - Saif Ali Khan Starrer Vikram Vedha Remake Set To Be Delayed Again?
Mumbai, June 27, 2021: The Hindi remake of the 2017 Tamil blockbuster, Vikram Vedha, has been a talk of the town for a long time now. While the original film starred Vijay Sethupathi and R Madhavan in the lead role, the Hindi remake will be headlined by Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan, stepping into the shoes of Sethupathi and Madhavan respectively. ## While the movie is yet to be officially announced, it was reportadly set to go on floors in July 2021. However, according to the latest development, the movie is set to be delayed once again. Due to the covid-19 situation in Mumbai, Maharashtra, the makers have said to be canceled the plan to roll out the film in July in Mumbai. ## According to the reports, the makers are now planning to roll out the film in August this year with the first scheduled to be shot abroad. Pushkar – Gayatri (a husband-wife duo), who helmed the original Vikram Vedha, will also be directing the Hindi remake. It will be produced by the original producer, Y NOT Studios, and co-produced by Plan C Studios. ## The original movie starred R. Madhavan as righteous police officer Vikram while Vijay Sethupathi played the gangster Vedha. The film draws from the ancient lore of Vikram-Betaal, where a wily gangster manages to escape every time a determined cop nabs him, by narrating a new story drawn from his own life. ## Apart from Vikram Vedha, Hrithik will also be doing his digital debut series, The Night Manager for Disney+Hotstar. He also has Sidharth Anand's Fighters which will roll out early next year. After that, he will be doing his ambitious project, Krrish 4, and then, War 2. On the other hand, Saif Ali Khan has Bunty Aur Babli 2, Bhoot Police, and Om Raut's magnum opus, Adipurush, in his kitty.## Stay tuned...
