Actress Disha Patani is looking forward to reuniting with filmmaker Mohit Suri on the set of their upcoming film, Ek Villain 2. The actress had earlier collaborated with Mohit on their 2020 film 'Malang' which also starred Anil Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Kunal Khemu. ## "Starting the new year on the set is the best way to begin the year for me. All India Exhibitors have requested superstar, Salman Khan to release his most-awaited action movie, Radhe – Your Most Wanted Bhai on Eid 2021 to give a boost to single screens/independent cinemas which got a massive set back due to the covid-19 pandemic.## The Cinema Associations are hopeful that a Salman Khan movie can revive the halted single screen business hence, they want the superstar to release his Radhe on Eid 2021 in every cinema across the country for not just financial support but to give a ray of hope to cinemas owners and employees in the context of their future. ## In the letter addressed to Salman, they wrote, "As you are aware, 2020 has been a rough year for millions of people across the country & the ones associated with India's film exhibition sector haven't been an exception. Over the last 10 months, hundreds of single screen/ Independent cinemas have pulled down their shutters permanently & this has resulted in the loss of livelihood for lakhs of people who were employed by them directly & indirectly".## "Films are to theatres what fuel is to a car. Without a constant supply of content that is relevant to its audience, running a cinema hall is close to impossible. For over a decade now, your films have played an important role in bringing audiences to single-screen cinemas, which are otherwise starved for content that caters to the sensibilities of people who patronize them", they added.## "Your film Radhe - Your Most Wanted Bhai is among the few that are capable of resurrecting the fortunes of independent / single-screen cinemas across the country. A film like that, if released widely can give not just financial support & relief, but also a ray of hope to owners & employees of theatres in the context of their future. We request you to plan the film's release at every cinema in the country on Eid 2021, as there cannot be a better idea than that for us film exhibitors & more importantly for millions of your fans, whom we cannot wait to welcome back at the theatres", they wrote requesting the actor for a mega release of Radhe.## The letter went on to say that since there hasn't been a single case of people contracting COVID-19 traced back to a cinema hall anywhere in the world, they are confident of keeping Salman's fans safe by following comprehensive protocols and guidelines.## They signed off stating that they are anticipating his support on behalf of lakhs of Indians who make a living by working at & for cinema halls.## Stay tuned...

The actor has teamed with filmmaker Santosh Sivan and shared the first look of his next movie which is titled 'Mumbaikar'. The movie marks the official Bollywood debut for Sethupathy as he is no longer a part of Aamir Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha. ## Karan Johar and SS Rajamauli shared the first look poster of the movie that featured an ensemble cast including Vijay, Vikrant Massey, Sanjay Mishra, Ranvir Shorey, Tanya Maniktala, Sachin Khedekar. With the backdrop of birds flying at Marine Drive, the first look featured only the faces of the stars of the film. Vikrant Massey will step into Sundeep Kishan's shoes in the Hindi remake. Maanagaram, which released in 2017, was an edge-of-the-seat thriller directed by young filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj. Mumbaikar will be produced by Shibu Thameens that happens to be his Hindi debut production. ## Meanwhile, Vijay Sethupathy is waiting for the release of his next film Master which stars Thalapathy Vijay in the title role. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Master is the first big Tamil movie releasing in theaters post lockdown. The talented actor, who was last seen in a biographical-drama movie, Sanju, has been working on Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra for quite some time now. In 2021, the Dear Comrade star will be seen making her Tamil and Hindi debut also. Talking about her Bollywood debut, she will star opposite Sidharth Malhotra in Mission Majnu. The espionage thriller, directed by Shantanu Bagchi, is inspired by a true story set in the 1970s. Apart from Mission Majnu, there are reports that she has bagged another Bollywood film that stars Amitabh Bachchan. ## Vijay Sethupathy ## One of the biggest Kollywood actors, Vijay Sethupathy is all set to start his Bollywood journey in 2021. The actor recently shared the first look poster of his debut Bollywood movie, Mumbaikar which will be directed by the acclaimed filmmaker, Santosh Sivan who is best known for cinematography in Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi cinema. Earlier, Sethupathy was supposed to make his Bollywood debut with Aamir Khan starrer, Lal Singh Chaddha, but now, he is reportedly no longer part of the movie which is scheduled for release on 25 December 2021. The Ajay Devgn starrer will now release in 2021 on Disney+Hotstar.
