A long Diwali festival has started with Dhanteres in India with the hope of bringing prosperity to everyone's life. However, it didn't turn out to be a good start for the film industry as most of the top releases have had a dull start at the box office. Be it Made In China, and Saand Ki Aankh, both had a poor opening.## Housefull 4, one of the most awaited and big-budgeted films of 2019, though didn't collect big numbers, it was still way ahead than the other movies. The biggest comedy entertainer of the year has not earned as expected, but with releasing 3 other films, it has done decently on the first day as it earned 19.08 Cr India net. ## The day 1 occupancy of Housefull 4 remained steady throughout the day whereas it picked in the night shows. It was around 40% for the last part of the day while the average occupancy was 30% for day 1. ## Among the main cities, Delhi and Mumbai which has the highest number of shows, has had an average occupancy of 27.50% for the day. Chennai had the highest occupancy with nearly 70% but it has only 40 shows due to the Tollywood film Bigil. Even after the third weekend, War's solid impact at the box office continued on 3rd Monday as it earned 2.15 Cr India net for all languages according to early estimates. Including Monday collection, War has earned 304.90 Cr for all languages while its worldwide collection is 451 Cr which is highest in 2019 for an Indian movie. ## The Monday collection of War affected due to assembly elections in Maharasthra and Harayana regions. However, occupancy was steady in Mumbai and Pune. War's morning occupancy was dull with just 5%. The evening occupancy was the highest of the day with nearly 25%. ## Among the other main cities, the occupancy in the Gujrat region was much better than most of the other regions. Surat and Ahmedabad were the main contributors to this region with an average of 20% occupancy of both. On the third Sunday (19th day), War jumped nearly 20% to earn 5.50 Cr net for all languages and taken its lifetime net collection 301.25 Cr including 287.40 Cr for Hindi only. ## After Sunday's collection, War has also become the highest worldwide collection Indian movie of 2019. It goes past Saaho's 439 Cr worldwide for all languages to earn 445 Cr. Kabir Singh is at the third position with 377 Cr. ## War became the highest Hindi net collection movie of the year 2019 on the third Saturday. It surpassed Kabir Singh's lifetime collection of 278.80 Cr. War is the second film after Saaho to enter in 300 Cr club for all languages in the year 2019. India's Test and ODI captain Mithali Raj has been on record-breaking mode since last week or so. Yesterday, she became only the second captain in women's international matches to complete 100th win after clinching a low scoring thriller over South Africa. The 3-match series was being played in Vadodara which India won with a scoreline of 3-0. ## To win her 100 matches, Mithali Raj has captained India in 167 matches across all three formats (Test, ODI, T20I). Her captaincy record only battered by former England's player Charlotte Edwards who has 142 wins in 220 matches. ## Apart from becoming the second woman captain to win 100 matches, Mithali Raj completed 20 years in women's cricket in the first ODI against South Africa. She is the only woman player and 4th (male or female) overall to have 20+ years of an international career. ## She didn't stop there. In the second ODI, the Indian Women recorded their biggest ODI chase of 248 to take a series-winning lead of 2-0. Raj led from the front and played a captain's knock of 66 runs of 82 balls.
