Stats: Australia Pulled Off Their Highest Run Chase In ODIs
It was a day of run fest contest at Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali that saw three brilliant knocks. First from Shikhar Dhawan who back in form and scored his 16th ODI ton (143 off 115 balls) that helped India to post a formidable total of 358 runs on the board. Amla too took the same number of innings to reach 3000 runs in South Africa. The previous record was held by Virat Kohli who took 63 innings to reach the milestone in India.## - Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan's 193 runs stand for the opening wicket is the highest stand for India against Australia for the first wicket. The previous record also belongs to them when the pair added 178 in Nagpur in 2013.## - Shikhar Dhawan scored his highest individual score of 143 in ODIs.
