Box Office: 'Chhaava' Second Saturday (Day 9) Early Estimates

Mumbai, February 22 - One of the greatest tales of bravery, courage and pride, is scripting history some centuries later in a different form as Vicky Kaushal-fronted historical action drama Chhaava exploded again on the second Saturday.

What it looked like at 75+ crores the second weekend is now easily going over 100+ crores net after the film showed unheard growth on Saturday. According to early estimates, Chhaava scored 43-45 crores net collection on its 9th day, the second Saturday.



The growth on Saturday is almost 100%, and this is after one of the biggest second Fridays ever at the Hindi box office which is mindboggling. The weekend is now heading for 115-125 crores net, one of the biggest second weekends ever in Hindi.

The total collection of the movie stands at 288 crores net in 9 days as it heads for around 340 crores net at the end of the second weekend. It is looking at a 500 crores net club which is almost certain given the fact that the movie has an open run for another couple of weeks.
