Stamford, December 17 - WWE's Charlotte Flair is facing a challenging road to recovery as she prepares for surgery to address a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus, injuries suffered during the December 8 SmackDown. The severity of the injuries was revealed in Dave Meltzer's Sunday Daily Update, shedding light on the extent of Flair's condition.

The news comes shortly after WWE officially announced Flair's knee injury on Friday's SmackDown, providing a nine-month timetable for her absence. However, the specific details regarding the nature of the knee injuries were not initially disclosed.

In addition to the knee injuries, PWInsider reports that Flair may have also sustained a strained neck during her match with Asuka on December 8. The incident occurred during a segment that wasn't televised, where Flair fell off the top rope. The televised portion of the match showed Flair landing on her feet to the floor on a moonsault attempt.

The combination of a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus, along with a potential strained neck, paints a challenging picture for Charlotte Flair's recovery. The nine-month timeline indicates the gravity of the situation, and fans are undoubtedly eager for updates on her progress.
