Charlotte Flair Shares Positive Update On Her Injury; Gets Her Stitches Out

Charlotte Flair had a match against Asuka on December 8th, 2023, during Friday Night SmackDown. Unfortunately, she sustained a serious knee injury and had to undergo surgery. She provided a positive update on her recovery after the surgery.

Charlotte Flair went through the surgery on January 5th and has been recovering at home since then. Fans are disappointed that she won't be participating in this year's Royal Rumble Premium Live Event and will miss WrestleMania 40.



In an Instagram story, the 37-year-old wrestler shared a positive update, mentioning that 11 days after the surgery, her stitches were removed. She posted a video showcasing improved range of motion, indicating her ongoing recovery.

"I got my stitches out today."

Despite facing a potentially lengthy recovery, Charlotte Flair is receiving strong support from her husband Andrade. Ric Flair also revealed how the injury had an emotional impact on her. It remains to be seen if the 14-time Women’s Champion will be able to make an earlier return to the ring.
