New Zealand's player Nathan Astle holds the record for the fastest double century in test cricket as he scored a double century in just 153 balls against England at Jade Stadium, Christchurch in 2001-02. Ben Stokes is second on the list as he scored a double century in just 163 balls against South Africa at Newlands, Cape Town in 2016.
