Indian railway is one of the largest railway networks in the world. Indian Railways has 7,112 stations over a route of 65,808 km used by passengers, Goods wagons, and freight traffic. Indian railway runs 7420 freights trains and 12,615 passenger trains daily .

1) Vivek express - Dibrugarh to Kanyakumari

Vivek express runs between Dibrugarh in Assam to Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu. Vivek express covers a distance of 4273 km and takes 80 hours 15 minutes to reach its destination.it passes through 8 states and stop at 55 halts .



2) Thiruvananthapuram Central–Silchar Express:

Silchar express runs between Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala to Silchar in Assam. This train covers a distance of 3932 km in 74 hrs 35 minutes. This train passes through 9 states and stops at 51 halts .

3) Himsagar Express - Jammu Tawi to Kanyakumari:

The Himsagar Express train runs between Kanyakumari (Tamil Nadu) to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Jammu and Kashmir)The train covers a distance of 3787 km and takes 72 hrs to reach its destination. this train passes a total of 12 states and stops at 73 stations.

4)Navyug Express - Mangalore to Jammu:

Navyug Express covers a distance of 3674 km and takes 68 hours hrs to reach its destination. navy express runs between Bangalore central to Jammu Tawi. This train passes 14 states and stops at 61 halts .



5)Ten Jammu Express - Tirunelveli Jammu:

Ten Jammu Express runs between Tirunelveli in Tamil Nadu to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra in Jammu and Kashmir. the train covers a distance of 3631 km and takes 71 hrs 20 minutes to reach its destination. this train passes 11 states and stops at 62 halts.
