Mercedes Mone Responds to Highest-Paid Rumors: 'That Sounds Beautiful'

Mercedes Mone, following her debut with AEW at Dynamite: Big Business, has addressed reports suggesting she's the highest-paid female wrestler currently.

Multiple sources reported a hefty price tag associated with Mone's multi-year AEW deal, potentially making her the top earner among female wrestlers.



When asked about this by James Stewart on Stick to Wrestling, Mone simply replied, "That sounds beautiful. My name is Mercedes Mone for a reason."

Mone has yet to make her in-ring debut for AEW but has been a consistent presence on their programming since her arrival. The interview also included Mone discussing conversations with Tony Khan that led to her signing with AEW.
