Roman Reigns Absent From Royal Rumble Poster, Could Miss WWE's Biggest Event
Florida, 13 September - The Royal Rumble has consistently held its place as one of the "Big Four" annual WWE pay-per-view events, alongside WrestleMania, Survivor Series, and SummerSlam. These four events are considered the pinnacle of the wrestling calendar each year.
However, it appears that the current WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns, will not be participating in the 37th Royal Rumble based on the recently unveiled event poster for 2024.
WWE made a significant announcement today, revealing that the 37th Royal Rumble will take place on January 27th in Tampa, Florida, at the Tropicana Field. The event poster prominently features several top WWE stars, including World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley, Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Finn Balor & Damian Priest, US Champion Rey Mysterio, NXT Women’s Champion Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair, Women’s Champion IYO SKY, Cody Rhodes, Asuka, LA Knight, and others.
Roman Reigns, who inked a new WWE contract last year with a reduced work schedule, did not participate in Paynack and is not scheduled for Fastlane next month. His most recent WWE match was at SummerSlam. However, fans can expect to see him at Survivor Series, as he is currently advertised for that event.
