All-Time Highest Opening Day In Hindi, KGF Chapter 2 Tops

Mumbai, April 15 - KGF Chapter 2 has topped all the Hindi films to become the highest opening day film ever in Hindi. The film has beaten the previous record holders War and Thugs Of Hindostan to become the number one opener ever.

KGF Chapter 2 has collected a mind-boggling 53.95cr on its opening day which is also the highest single-day record ever for Hindi languages. The film has smashed all records in practically all the circuits and by some huge margins.

There are three 50cr openers now for the Hindi box office with KGF Chapter 2, War and Thugs Of Hindostan and while KGF Chapter 2 was released on a partial holiday, the other two were released on a national holiday with Superstars.

The film is on its way to putting a crazy opening weekend number by defeating Baahubali2 which holds the weekend record at 128cr net. KGF Chapter 2 is on its way to smashing that record by a huge distance.
