Box Office: Dhaakad First Day Early Estimates; Opens To A Below Average Response

Mumbai, May 20 - Kangana Ranaut fronted Dhaakad was released today at the box office with a below-average response. The film is released alongside Bhool Bhulaiya 2 which took an excellent start and provided the industry with much-needed morale but on the other side Dhaakad did the opposite.

The early estimated collections for the first day of Dhaakad are set to be around 1.25 crores net box office collections which is a disaster number considering the stature of the film as despite being a female-driven film, The film has a huge budget.

The film has been released on a large number of screens due to the heavy cost involved but the audience has rejected the film due to its non-appealing content. The film started with such a low point that even a 100% growth over the next couple of days cannot save the film.
