Box Office: KGF - Chapter 2 All India First Day Early Estimates

Bengaluru, April 14 - The years of wait has finally been unleashed on the big screen as Yash-fronted "KGF: Chapter 2" makes a smashing debut at the domestic box office.

The Prashanth Neel-directed has been the most-anticipated Indian movie, and its opening at the box office has proved why it was. The Pan-India biggie, as per the early estimates, has scored the third-biggest opening in India. It, however, may or may not become the biggest starter, beating "RRR's" 156 crores gross three weeks ago.

Focussing on the data we have, "KGF: Chapter 2" has grossed an estimated 150 crores on the first day in India, the third-biggest ever after "RRR" (156 Cr.), and "Baahubali 2" (152 Cr.).

In the dubbed Hindi version, "KGF2" has recorded the biggest opening ever, beating "War" (51.6 Cr.). As per early estimates, the Yash-starrer movie has scored approx. 54 crores net (63 cr. gross). For the record, "KGF: Chapter 1" had taken the opening of just 2.1 crores net in Hindi.

In the home state, Karnataka, the latest blockbuster has grossed an estimated 35 crores, which is the highest ever opening in the state. In Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, it grossed approx. 33 crores, including approx. 20 crores share, followed by approx. 19 crores gross in Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
