Box Office: Liger Opening Day Early Estimates (All Languages)

Hyderabad, August 25 - The movie of the day, Vijay Deverakonda's Liger is off to a flying start at the box office, taking a career-best opening for the actor.

Going by the early estimates, the Puri Jagannadh-directed film has grossed 25-27 crores for all languages, including an estimated 13-15 crores AP/TG share the collection on the first day.

The Telugu language gross collection on the first day is approx. 23-25 crores as other versions had a limited release as the full-fledged screening of the film will start from August 26 onwards. The premiere shows in other languages, including Hindi, scored an estimated 2.50 crores gross.

"Liger" needs to hold well over the weekend to post good numbers. It won't be easy as critics reivews and word of mouth are poor to mixed as far as the Telugu version is concerned.
