Box Office: RRR (Hindi) First Sunday Early Estimates
Mumbai, March 27 - "RRR" is finally coming into "Baahuabli 2" mode at the box office in Hindi and heading towards a huge opening week.
The SS Rajamouli-directed, after collecting 43.82 crores net in the first days in Hindi, exceeded all the expectations on the 3rd day and recorded the biggest single day in Hindi during the covid-19 pandemic.
The period action drama film, on the first Sunday (3rd day), scored an estimated 30-31 crores net (might reach 34 cr.) in Hindi, pushing the opening weekend cume to 73+ crores in the dubbed version. It will crores the 100 crores mark within the first week.
"RRR" is spreading like a wildfire across all the centers in Hindi, especially, the biz is strong in Maharasthra, Gujrat, and Odissa. The single screens are rock solid while the multiplexes show massive jump from Saturday. The average occupancy in Hindi was approx 70% on Sunday, which is phenomenal.
Overall, "RRR" has crossed 300 crores net (including Sunday estimates) for all languages and becomes the first Indian movie since "War" (2019) to reach the milestone. It is expected to remain rock solid during weekdays before returning to strong feet in the weekends.
