Box Office: RRR (Hindi) First Wednesday Early Estimates
Mumbai, March 30 - RRR is set to finish the opening week as the biggest in Hindi post-pandemic by leapfrogging Akshay Kumar's "Sooryavanshi".
The SS Rajamouli-directed, after scoring 107.59 crores in the first 5 days, scored an estimated 13-14 crores on the first Wednesday, pushing net cum to 121+ crores. Sooryavanshi had recorded 120.66 crores in the first week.
"RRR" is eyeing to finish the opening week over 130 crores, which will make it the 25th biggest first-week earner of all time in Hindi. Currently, Hrithik Roshan's "Bang Bang" is at number 5 with 129.92 crores.
Meanwhile, "RRR" is the 30th biggest first Wednesday and 22nd sixth day scorer in Hindi of all time. It has also crossed Rajamouli's own film "Baahubali" (118 cr.) to become the second-biggest grosser for the filmmaker in Hindi.
