Box Office: RRR Second Thursday All India Early Estimates
Hyderabad, April 7 - "RRR" has had a fantastic second week at the domestic box office.
The SS Rajamouli-directed has crossed 670 crores net in India, after scoring approx. 197 crores for all languages in the second week. It scored an estimated 10 crores on the second Thursday, taking the total collection to 673 crores.
In Hindi, the movie scored approx. 76 crores net in week 2 after an estimated 5 crores on its 14th day. The total net collection now stands at 208.50 crores. With no notable films releasing this week, "RRR" has at least one more week free run and is expected to remain strong before "KGF2", and "Jersey" arrive on April 14. It may finish around 260 crores net in its lifetime run.
The Jr. NTR/Ram Charan-fronted period action drama film, in the original Telugu version, has already become the highest-grossing Telugu movie of all time and over the 3rd weekend, it will become the first-ever Telugu movie to reach 400 crores net. Currently, it stands at approx. 394 crores, including the second Thursday total.
Worldwide, "RRR" has reached approx. 970 crores gross. It will reach the landmark box office figure of 1000 crores gross by the 3rd Saturday and will become only the 3rd Indian movie to achieve the feat.
