Box Office: Rashtra Kavach - OM First Day Early Estimates

Mumbai, July 1 - Aditya Roy Kapur's "Rashtra Kavach: OM" could not protect the film's box office fate as the movie opened to a very poor collection on Friday.

The Kapil Verma-directed action thriller scored an estimated 1.25 crores net on Friday, taking one of the lowest openings for a Bollywood movie in 2022. The movie was not expected to open big but the collection is still too low, to say the least.

The first-day box office collection of Ahmed Khan and Zee Studios-produced movie is very much similar to Kangana Ranaut's "Dhaakad", which proved to be one of the biggest disasters of the year. "Om's" almost nothing opening has ensured almost the same box office fate as "Dhaakad" as growth is looking unlikely.
