Box Office: The Kashmir Files Ends Second Weekend On A Blockbuster Note
Mumbai, March 20 - Yet another day dominated by "The Kashmir Files".
Words are falling short to describe TKF's phenomena at the box office. While the first 9 days are enough to tell where this film is heading, the 10th day (2nd Sunday) has further strengthened its position among the all-time blockbusters.
The Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri-directed ends the second weekend on a blockbuster note. It scored an estimated Rs. 27.50 crores on the second Sunday for Rs. 71.45 crores weekend (3rd biggest of all-time). The total domestic net collection of TKF stands at Rs. 168.75 crores after 10 days.
The second Sunday estimates also lead "The Kashmir Files" to enter in the top 5 biggest 10th day for a Hindi movie. It is at number 4 after "Baahubali 2 The Conclusion" (Rs. 34.5 cr.), "Dangal" (Rs. 32.04 cr.), and "Sanju" (Rs. 28.05 cr.).
TKF has a shot for Rs. 300 crores net, and there is a strong possibility of it to reach there. It is showing an extraordinary trend which is making its chance a really strong to have a long run at the box office. The only roadblock for this movie is the new release every week, and all are big ones. From the next weekend, it will face the mighty "RRR", which is having huge anticipation among the Hindi audiences.
