Box Office: 'The Kashmir Files' Explodes On Second Friday
Mumbai, March 18 - "The Kashmir Files" has become a movement and it is getting bigger and bigger with each passing day.
No one had given this Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri-directed even an outside chance to poise even a challenge to other movies at the box office, but now, it seems the sky is the limit for this.
TKF, after registering a mammoth opening week at the domestic box office with Rs. 97.30 crores net, explodes on the second Friday and scored the biggest day so far for an estimated Rs. 22 crores. The 2nd Friday estimates push total domestic cume to Rs. 119.30 crores.
The advance booking for the second Saturday is also very promising with already above Rs. 10 crores. The second weekend is heading towards a massive Rs. 70 crores (+/-). It will be too early to predict its lifetime run, but Rs. 200 crores mark is looking like a cakewalk for it.
