Laal Singh Chaddha Will Release on 11th Aug 2022; Adipurush Postponed
Mumbai, Feb 15, 2022: Much-awaited Bollywood movie Laal Singh Chaddha was again postponed due to the film being not completed and now it will release on 11th Aug 2022.
Earlier, the film was scheduled to release on 14th April 2022 but now moved on. Aamir Khan Productions makes an official announcement on Twitter.
It quoted, "This is to announce that our film, Laal Singh Chaddha, will not be releasing on 14th April as planned. This is because we are unable to complete the film in time. The
film will now be released on 11th Aug 2022 in theatres worldwide. We would like to thank Mr Bhushan Kumar, T Series, Om Raut and the entire team of Adipurush from the bottom of our hearts. We would like to thank them for being so helpful and understanding, and for shifting the release date of their much-awaited, Adipurush, starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan, so that Laal Singh Chaddha can come on 11th Aug 2022".
Directed by Advait Chandan, "Lal Singh Chaddha" is an adaptation of the 1994 American film Forrest Gump which itself is based on Winston Groom's 1986 novel of the same name. The movie also stars Kareena Kapoor as the female lead alongside Naga Chaitanya [Hindi debut] and Mona Singh. It is produced by Aamir Khan Productions in association with Viacom18 Studios, and Paramount Pictures.
