Mammootty's 'Bheeshma Parvam' Becomes Biggest Opening Weekend Grosser In Kerala

Kochi, March 7 - Malayalam superstar Mammootty's latest release, "Bheeshma Parvam" has created a sensation at the box office, becoming the highest-grossing film in the opening weekend in Kerala.

The action thriller, directed by Amal Neerad, was released on March 3 on Thursday and has grossed Rs. 22.15 crores in Kerala in the first 4 days. It has beaten Mohanlal-fronted "Lucifer", which had grossed Rs. 22 crores over the 4-day opening weekend in Kerala in 2019.

Overall, "Bheeshma Parvan" scored Rs. 21.90 crores net all over India and grossed Rs. 25.50 crores over the 4-day weekend. SS Rajamouli's "Baahubali 2" is the 3rd biggest opening weekend collection movie in Kerala with Rs.16.70 crores in 2017.
