Mohanlal Unveils The First Official Poster Of His Directorial Debut Film, Barroz

Malayalam superstar Mohanlal recently announced that he will foray into the direction and also announced the title of his directorial debut movie. Titled, Barroz: Guardian of D'Gama's Treasure, is a Malayalam 3D fantasy film, produced by Antony Perumbavoor of Aashirvad Cinemas.

The movie went on floors on Wednesday (March 24) with a traditional pooja ceremony. And now, the superstar has unveiled the first official poster of Barroz, in which he will also be starring in the lead role as Barroz.

Apart from Mohanlal, the movie also star Prithviraj Sukumaran, Padmavati Rao, Prathap Pothen along with international stars from Spain, Portugal, Ghana, and America. Ace filmmaker Santosh Sivan is the cinematographer of the film.

The film is written by director Jijo Punnoose and it will be shot at locations including Kochi, Goa, Dehradun, and Portugal. It will release in 2022 in Malayalam and English languages.
