This film is directed by Raj Kumar Gupta who also directed No One Killed Jessica (2011) and Aamir (2008). It is produced by Abhishek Pathak, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar Dua under the banners Panorama Studios, and T-Series.

Raid is based on a true story and longest Income Tax raid in 1981 at Lucknow.
