Rajinikanth's Action Drama, Annaatthe Gets A New Release Date
Chennai, July 1, 2021: Sun Pictures stuck to the previous release date of superstar Rajinikanth's Annaatthe and re-confirmed that the movie will be hitting worldwide theaters on November 4, 2021, on the occasion of Diwali. An action-drama film was earlier scheduled to hit cinemas on Pongal 2021.
Produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures, Annaatthe is directed by Sivakumar Jayakumar, known professionally as Siva. Sun Pictures took to Twitter and announced the new release date.
Annaatthe is Rajinikanth's maiden collaboration with director Siva, who is known for making out-and-out commercial potboilers that are right up the Superstar's alley. The shooting of the film was recently concluded in Chennai.
Apart from Rajinikanth, the movie also stars Keerthy Suresh, Meena, Khushbu, Nayanthara, and Prakash Raj in the key roles.
